@Synalon Etuul: You need a lot of space if you have:

    Large amounts of games
    Large amounts of movies
    Some HD movies
    Lots of music

unless you need it right now, I would wait until hard drive prices go down mid summer, so your not spending so much extra.

As for the HDD vs SSD, I would get a small SSD to store the OS and some programs that take a long time to boot, photoshop, visual studio, steam all come to mind, and an HHD for basic file storage like your movies, documents, and pictures.

Going for Android based tabled in place of iPad is a bad idea. What is the most important thing about these devices is the apps you can run on them, and here iPad is head and shoulders above anything Android based, and it's not looking as it's going to change anytime soon. I and some, but certainly not all, or maybe not even the majority of developers prefer iOS to Android, for many reasons. I know because I'm one of them and I have no plans for iMtG Android port. Just look at what's available for MTG for iOS vs. Android.

    fixed

don't make huge assumptions of all developers. Android has an open market, so it has a lot more freeware to choose from. I personally prefer android, and so do most of my friends that are developers.

People assume I get all A's

People assume I'm some kind of freaky weird computer hacker because I built my own and know a few programming languages.

The best part of being the de facto tech support is all those people who assume that because you're "good with computers" that you're either some kind of movie-like hacker who can make computers do magical things, or that you know anything about the random programs they use. Most of the "help" I gave people boiled down to poking around until I figured out the solution to their problem, and it only seemed like I knew beforehand because I only took a minute or two.

    EXACTLY!

@rahzark: Your right, I didn't really think about Merfolk being just like this deck.

@Enzyme: I have splashed Red before, but I got mana screwed more than once during testing. I'm sure there were better ways to prevent that, but I simply prefer playing with only two colors.

I have a few sideboarded Dauntless Escort's for ***, plus he is a good beater.

Combo I have a bit more trouble with. I have Lapse of Certainty, a card in my opinion is extremely underrated, and that deals with most combos for just a turn, but sometimes just enough to win or at least to oblivion ring a permanent part of a combo when it becomes my turn.

I'll post my list up tonight, I don't have time to write all that much now.

I have been doing super well with this deck in my local tourneys, and I'm on a ultra budget build. If someone would put some better guys in it, then I feel as we could defiantly see something like this good enough top 8ing, or am I missing a major flaw in the deck?

It uses Knight of New Alara with Bant Sureblade and Naya Hushblade giving each of the blades +4/+4 plus an extra ability. (+3/+3 because of the 3 colors, and an additional +1/+1 because of the blades abilities). I also put in Loam Lion, a great turn one drop. I have 4 Wilt-Leaf Liege for extra bonus. I have standard white removal and Hexproof boots to protect my guys. I don't have any, but if I was on no budget Knight of the Reliquary would be in it too. There are numerous other great green and white cards that would fit perfectly in this deck that do see play in modern, and I was wondering why an argo deck like this has not shown up yet, because two 5/6's with shroud and a Knight of New Alara with hexproof boots starting you in the face on turn 4 or 5 is quite the problem for most decks.

I have two passwords, well, really more like 6 passwords

I often combine them in different ways or add some extra numbers depending on the website.

Here is a way to make a cool easy to remember but hard to brute force or guess password:

Make a phrase, something you can remember, like:

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime

Take the first letter of each important word, or the entire phrase if its short

GMFEDTMFEL is what I have from that

put some numbers in between the sentences, or a comma if it doesn't have a period.

    GMFED78TMFEL

chage the casing of some of the letters. For me the FED and the FEL stick out, so I'm going to keep those capital.

    gmFED78tmFEL

I like adding a symbol in between the capital and lower letters

    gm*FED78tm@FEL

A great password, and I already have it memorized because I spent the time making it, and to someone else, who doesn't know the steps or why you chose it it would be extremely hard to memorize or guess. On top of that, it doesn't use any words and is long enough forcing it would be hard.

haha, I made a similar project in VB just a few months ago.

I got this book on C# that was really good, in fact, the best ground up programming book I have ever got, but a little slow in the start because it talks to you as if you have never touched programming before. It's called "head first C#". I honestly don't remember if it covers peer to peer stuff, but it does get you good with syntax before you google how to do peer to peer things.

Laptops don't last as long, on top of being more expensive than the desktops if you want the same power.

Similar thing happened to me and a friend, but less money. We trade thinking its a few $1 rares for a $5 rare. Turned out the $5 rare was a $20 rare, and most of the other rares were already traded. We just said oh well, we made a trade and thats a trade, it happens.

One time I traded for a Nicol Bolas with someone I didn't know, thinking it was the Legends version (15-20 bucks), but didn't know that there was another Bolas printed with the same symbol with a white border (2-5bucks). When I found that out I told him, and he understood and gave me a few extra cards to even up the deal, but he was really nice. I think most people would just be like, oh thats too bad.

No, don't get a laptop, they tend not to last as long.

For about 700 my dad bought a computer with Quad core 2.3, 8gigs of RAM, and some crappy Graphics card. It also came with a 1080p monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Gateway+DX4860-UB32P+Desktop+%26+20%22+LED+Monitor+Package/9999172100050005.p?id=pcmprd171800050005&skuId=9999172100050005

I found that after about 3minutes of searching and if you want to game on it, you could upgrade your graphics card and still be in your price range.

I reallyreallyreallyreally suggest not getting a laptop, unless your actually going to have to move it around often.
