Unfortunately after our deployment today there is a bug in multiplayer Commander games that prevents them from completing correctly. As soon as one player is eliminated, the game ends in a draw for the rest of the players. This issue only affects multiplayer Commander games, and does not impact 2-player Commander or other multiplayer formats.
We are investigating a fix right now, but unfortunately it will not be completed, tested, and deployed until next week's downtime. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
I'd just like to chime in and say that I've had nothing but good dealings with Heath and MTGOTraders. I don't always use them, but they're always my first stop when I want something. It's no coincidence that Heath has a lot of defenders here as he's been a long-time supporter of the MTGO community and he has earned his stellar reputation one customer at a time.
I recently made this deck, and wow. Just wow.
'Runs faaaaaar away'
So I'm back. This deck is amazing. First game with the deck and Norin stole everything with Confusion in the Ranks. Next game, someone was playing a very casual Genju of the Realm deck. He played Genju, without realizing that I had Grip of Chaos on the board. I got Genju enchanted on my mountain, and proceeded to bash face with it back at him. Killed him with his own general damage.
While it's a neat story, your opponent still controlled the aura and you'd need him to activate the Genju each turn for you to attack him with it.
The key is to stick them on Ashling the Pilgrim. Why just wipe the field when you can steal it permanently and repeatedly without paying general tax on Ashling?
In my experience, which is mostly Commander games in Just For Fun, most players are either silent or polite enough. The blow-ups are often more memorable so people tend to have a natural selection bias when looking back. In many cases, people will calm down and realize the error of their ways if you don't reciprocate and have some reinforcement from other players at the table. A cesspool, MTGO is not.
What those guys said. Most people are trained to read game descriptions. Also, unless you purposely want a brisk game, I suggest you set the timer to 60 minutes instead of the default 30. If I see a Comm game open with 30 minute timers and no description, I assume it's a duel and ignore it.
Does Mirari's Wake get around the restriction Infernal Darkness creates? I realize that the extra mana comes from the Wake so Infernal doesn't limit it when it's generated, but the way I read it the Wake could not generate anything other than black mana since the Infernal's replacement effect dictates the lands can't produce non-black mana.
This was an issue in a MTGO Commander game, the rules engine allowed the Wake player to generate any color mana from the Wake while Infernal was out. I believe it's a bug, but I'd like to make sure before reporting it.
The Sunforger package certainly makes the Plains-fetch cards better, I still hate the conditional aspect of them though. I now see what you mean about using bouncelands to meet that condition, but I'm still not sold on using bouncelands unless the manabase is a budget concern.
Increasing Devotion
It's a lot of tokens, but it doesn't seem to synergize with the rest of the deck's theme of engine-building by being attached to a body.
Heat Shimmer
It's versatile since it can target opponent creatures, but why not use Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and get more value out of the slot all around? You have 13 solid targets to copy in your current list, you don't need the ability to hit opponent creatures.
Tangle Wire
It's a great card in Gaka's deck, but the deck interacts with it much more too. You currently don't use Goblin Welder or Sculpting Steel to take advantage of this, which also leads me to...
Smokestack
Another artifact that doesn't really interact with the deck. You expect to always have tokens to sac, sure, but it's really just a slow control card that gives your opponents a choice. Neither of these artifacts seem to belong without reworking the deck to utilize them more.
Rest in Peace
As you mention, it clashes with some things you want to use. I'd rather use some more standard artifact based GY hate in this slot, with Relic of Progenitus being the most effective at hitting everyone.
Gift of Estates and Tithe
I realize these are in here to grab duals, but they're conditional and you're already playing green! I'd rather use Skyshroud Claim in a heartbeat. It's more mana, but it's acceleration and they come into play untapped, so you get 2 mana back right away. You can also try Ranger's Path as the second replacement, it's just a slightly worse Skyshroud Claim since they come into play tapped. If you're more concerned with the mana cost, Nature's Lore and it's functional reprint Three Visits are fine replacements as well.

Blind Obedience is nifty, bonus that Zur can fetch it.

Good calls on Helm of Possession, Glare of Subdual, Night Soil, and Retribution of the Meek. They should work well with the deck.
