Someone else said it, but Provoke would be a good creature based mechanic to see again. Deftblade Elite was one of my favorite creatures from Legions, it took convincing from 7 other people in my Cube group to tell me he isn't cube worthy lol.
I just picked up a full set on the very cheap, I was very happy to get it. It is something that I look forward to cubing with once I get my Cube rebuilt. It's very hard to tell the difference between CE and regular cards, for what it's worth.
WotC is showcasing an up and comer to the PT, and she is a female. Why are you so irritated that WotC is playing up the fact that yes, girls do enjoy Magic too? It makes no sense to me that you are this irate over it, just deal with it.
Mine are my full playset of Force of Wills signed by Terese Nielson. There's a story behind them, I was attending a community college, and I was excited because I was going to go to the Darksteel prerelease, where Terese Nielson was going to be signing cards. Roughly one week before the event, my decks were stolen, including my full playset of Forces. A good friend of mine loaned me his Forces, told me to get them signed and said he'd trade them to me straight up once I acquired another set of Forces. I've traded off and sold cards so many times since then for various reasons, but I will never sell off my Forces.
My shop owner will check the price of cards before selling them, if the price has gone down, he will charge less for the card, if the card has gone up, he will charge what the price tag he put on the card says. So I've never felt like haggling, as he is an all around great person to work with already.
Good announcement for those that are into watching Magic videos, meh news for the rest of us. Not gonna poo on other people's parade, but I really was hoping for something more than this.
Haunt was way overcomplex and underuseful, as the creature you were haunting had to die in order for you to get the second benefit. Granted, there were cards like Blind Hunter that were really boss in limited, but compared to the other cards we got in this block, I'm happy we didn't get Haunt.
Unearth is very similar to Flashback, and WotC decided they'd rather bring Flashback back.
Wickeddealer is just about right. You aren't going to make much, even if you are a top player, you are not going to get paid much to write Magic articles, granted, you will get a decent chunk of money just to write some words about something you already love and are good at, but you are not going to make any decent chunk of change.
Yeah, it might be a cute promotion that they're doing for their sales and nothing else. I got an Angel and a Zombie with my recent order. I was happy, as I am now going to use both with my Cube. along with everything else I got from them.
Ask him not a bunch of strangers on the net. I don't mean to sound like an ass, but confront him and explain yuor observations.
Exactly this. In fact, explain that you were at fault for many things before, and ask him exactly why he has a problem with you now. If you talk about this in a civil tone, especially in front of key witnesses (like the store owner) you are sure to gain more headway in your situation. Don't be aggressive, as that will only exacerbate the problem.
I have a binder, and I keep a section in the back of stuff I just picked up that's not for trade, but I keep it behind about 20 blank binder pages, so people usually automatically know that stuff isn't tradable. People do irritate me when they have non-trade stuff in their binder but don't announce that they have non-trade stuff sitting alongside their normal trade cards.
Also irritating is the person that takes 30 minutes to look through my cards, says they're interested in trading for X, Y and Z, but in the end says "nah I don't feel like trading." It really irks me and I am less inclined to trade with that person ever again.
Only thing I can think of off the top of my head is Rhystic Study. It's a great tool that people eventually stop caring about, causing you to draw piles of cards. If they do care and pay the extra one mana, you delayed every spell they played by one turn every single turn. It's great.
Are White bordered P3K cards acceptable or do I need to get that shizz altered
