Ensnaring Bridge in Affinity makes sense. He can swing with a 0 power dude (or 1 with a card) and then instant-speed equip Cranial Plating to it.
Yup, very smart call. It also acknowledges that Affinity is the control deck in the matchup, which is pretty sick because affinity is the poster child for blazing fast aggro.
It's definitely a good call by the affinity player, but it's also a bit of a canary. Prison cards in non prison decks is typically a sign of a degenerate or unhealthy format. Not that this isn't already apparent.
I've always been an advocate of KMC Perfect fits. I recently bought another 20 packs to last me for a while. The quality is absolutely different than the perfect fits I have been using and the few packs I had left from my prior bulk purchase. They're much larger and do not fit cards as snugly. It's a complete ***** to double sleeve with them, and I'm quite disappointed.
So what does everyone here think of the Ultimate Guard Perfect Fit inserts? I want to like them however they're so thin to the point where they easily leave marks behind and I didn't know If there's any similar sleeves that are damage proof since I just started getting into the habit of double sleeving my decks.
I use the KMC perfect fits. I can't directly compare quality, but I violently shuffle my foiled decks and have noticed zero damage.
The only reason Snapcaster ever would (or should) be banned is because printing blue spells becomes more difficult if he's around. It's similar to Pod / GSZ in that every spell makes Snapcaster that much better, and I know blue players are complaining right now about their counters / draw spells being weak.
I'm going to quote myself from a page back or so as to why I think the Birthing Pod/Green Sun's Zenith comparison is silly:
Pod not only searched up spells for you, it cast them for you for free. Snapcaster requires you to have already cast the spell (or milled it) and makes you pay 2 extra mana to cast it. If you can't see the difference, I'm afraid I can't help you.
If Snapcaster was "X1U: search your deck for an instant or sorcery and cast it without paying its manacost" then yes, we could compare it to Pod and GSZ. As it is, he does nothing but let you recast spells you've already cast by paying their manacost. That isn't a problem.
This isn't very relevant. Yes, Snapcaster isn't as good as GSZ / Pod. That doesn't mean Wizards doesn't have to be careful with the printing spells, especially blue spells.
I doubt that is even a factor. Snap just adds redundancy to decks. If a spell makes snap too good the problem is not snap but the spell.
Then you don't really understand why Snapcaster is so good.

Lots of misinformation going around here about regulation of the market. IRS has no jurisdiction to regulate it unless 31 CFR 103.11 was updated. The government does not and will not care about the MTG market. There is absolutely nowhere near enough money involved. Wizards can either decide to print more copies of cards to destroy the prices, or you will have to deal with it.
Just so anyone doesn't get offended, bipolar was a term used before describing the mental disorder. It's used to indicate two opposing extremities, most often in electronics or magnetism where you have two opposing charges, positive and negative (two poles).
As Thoughtseize, Duress, Inquisition, etc. seem rather dull, how about those alternatives?
Oppress B
Target player reveals his or her hand. You choose a nonland card from it. That player discards that card unless he discards 3 other cards.
I'm torn here. 3 other cards seems too strong, 2 other cards seems too weak...
Extort B
Target player reveals a card from his or her hand.
Choose one:
-That player discards the revealed card.
-That player reveals the rest of his hand and you choose one of those cards, then that player discards the chosen card.
How about this cryptic? Wanna have me discard my cryptic? No? Well, the rest of my hand is bad. Should have chosen the cryptic.
Oppress would never see play. Extort needs to be reworded to be remotely playable.
What? Says who?

Foiled out Modern (and legacy besides duals and, momentarily, wastelands) Jund deck.
I want to upgrade my Khans fetches. What's considered more rare/pimp? Onslaught pack foils or judge foils?
And how about basics? I know the guru lands are the rarest, but will the lack of foil on them take away from the deck?

Also, how is it a "rare combination" of Huntmaster an Siege-Gang? It's just a weaker, cheaper version of Siege-Gang.
I'm not too fond of the Promo star on the judge foils, but the border will match the rest of my deck better.
Thoughts?
