Zombies were at the peak of their powers in Onslaught block with rotlung reanimator, festering goblin, oversold cemetary, soulless one and patriarch's bidding-sadly even then they weren't so competitive and they were at the peak of their powers then.
Wow though, imagine if the cards in onslaught zombies were standard legal it would probably be the best deck right now
Also I hope the one who pulled the sengir vampire argument up to defend vampires was joking.
So in your mind it's a coincidence that twilight comes out, tru blood comes out, vampire diaries comes out, then all of a sudden magic just HAPPENS to come out with a vampire tribe in zendikar, only because of sengir vampire? please
Yawn......
you missed the point. Just mentioning a vampire thats been around a long time. Flame me all you want.
It's pretty counterproductive to say "I wanna run a R/G deck but not use BBE".
I'd say Valakut Ramp then.
For competive purpose I would agree. I should of mentioned that I dont want to copy another deck rather just improve the one I created. For me its more fun to try and build a decent deck.
I will never be totally original, I'll always strive to be different.
Well I've been developing this deck for a few weeks now. While I wish it was a top-teir deck, it's most definaly not. However, it does prove formidable more times than not to make it interesting. I've been playing for a long time, on and off and play excusivly on MTGO. I would like to solicit suggestions as my knowledge on the current card base is rather lacking. Most help is probalby needed at the side board. Also, any suggestions of post RoE would be helpful as well.
I just recently started playing again and not to clear on some of the new rules and abilities. I have a Lilian Vess that I want to use in my black card denial deck and am not to sure how she works. Can anyone please explain this to me. thanks...
Hello, found you forum while searching for information about this card.
Here is my situation.
My cousin and I have been playing Magic off and on for the past 10-15 years. While we are veterans of the game, we are by no means experts due to long periods in between playing. Things as understanding the current rules and impact on market conditions can be difficult in our position.
We just returned to playing and my cousin bought some M10 booster boxes and received a Bane slayer Angel. He is debating on whether to trade/sell the card or keep it for "investment" purposes.
Its a forgone conclusion we/he will lose interest in playing again then in the future that interest will be rekindled. So with a card with the value of the BSA he wants to make a reasonable decision.
What is the general consensus of the valuation staying the same or increasing?
Obviously it comes down to a personal decision. However, due to our lack of continuity in the game over the years we would like to get advice on what to look at when considering what to do with this card.
