i dont know e-truths helped me big time in an affinity match up last friday. i would have lost if it was not for that card. one, im facing 2 ravagers and a froggy. one ravager has 5 counters on it. the other has 3. the froggy is getting blocked by an eternal witness. im at 8. theres no DotV in play which is a plus for me. i block forggy he thinks he wins, i e-truth and he sacs the big ravager to itself and puts the counters on froggy to save it. i take nothing and he's got a nexus and another land out. my turn a rude awakening for the win. so there are some matchups where e-truth is gold.
also in a white control matchup. i needed to top-deck an e-truth to win or die (same as last time) theres two e-truths in my g-yard and still about 37 cards in my library. he's got ALL 4 ghostly prison out and enough creatures to pummel me next attack. he's got no blockers. i hope for an e-Truth for the win with a keiga. i prayed to the top-deck cards. BAM! e-truth on top. bounced ghostly prisons up and swung for the win. the guy couldnt believe it. he said that was a meant to be win for me and congratulated me. (BTW i only had 6 lands out so i wouldnt have been able to attack w/o the e-truth.)
ok first off im not dissing people who like unhinged and unglued but who would want to play with moronic cards like form of the squirrel and then take a potentially good card like that which was taken and make a deck that would never be aloud to play.
i'd throw in horned helm primarily to give ageless entity trample so he's not just getting blocked by a 1/1. also you do know that using beacon of immortality doesnt put +1/+1 counters on ageless entity.
yeah i see these cards being huge bombs in both limited and standard. the patron and orochi are just awesome. definitly a tide turner in the game. i see some potential with these cards.
what was your favorite block of magic. mine has to be invasion blck. all the tri color decks, multi colored cards, the spplit cards and the creatures and spells definitly the most creative decks came from invasion block.
oh i'd have to say about 7,000. i buy a new box for each set. every wednesday and friday i buy about 3 packs per day. i trade, go to events and play in tourneys so it adds up with time. i've been playing since the greatest block ever Invasion.
i dont think its counter-strike cause he said id released it seperatly. id had nothing to do with the half-life and mods for the game. that was all sierra and valve.
yeah i didnt clarify the final cast that good it was late and i was tired. it is only once you can do it. seeing as it is a final cast you shouldn't get another chance to copy it.
and with the sands. i made it rare and every card with a mechanic has to have once really good mechanic card. look at scry, Serum Visions, Tel-Jilad Justice, Magma Jet, theres no drawbacks to those cards.
i've tried it. it isnt all that bad. you dont get hooked on it as bad as cigarettes and tobacco. every time i or my friends use it we make sure that there is some one still sober to drive anywhere or have to take someone home. we are always safe when we use it and thats like once a month for us.
came up with this sitting in my house watching a movie. so i made some cards for it. its sort of like a fork ability but better imo.
