Have you considered Primal Order? I usually put it in any deck that meets the following criteria. Slow, non red and few non basics. This deck seems to be that way. Monogreen burn seems sweet. Trust me this enchantment kills people.
Do you think a Santa Clause origin story that put him on par with Moses and St Paul would be offensive and or controversial for mainstream american christianity?
I never in a million years would have seen this coming. City of Brass clone is obvious cube staple. I'm just floored that they printed this. So surprised!

I have taken a bit of a hiatus from this project for a few months with vacation/exams/life catching up with me. However, I will be writing the next article over my upcoming break. So, are their any requests for archetypes???
I primarily use wtwlf123's cube as a baseline, just as a reminder.
I'm not sure what it's called, but U\G with lots of creatures. It runs Opposition and Edric, Spymaster of Trest.
I also think counter burn is a strong archtype, but maybe it's too self explanitory for an article.
If there is a fourth set in this block, that they are not telling us about yet. It's code name should be Phooey. That's the name of the fourth Duck brother. Just google Phooey Duck
Rakdos
Good chance of pulling Pack Rat and if you get a red guild from gatecrash then you have a good chance of getting Madcap Skills. 50% chance at a red gatecrash pack isn't bad.
Thragfire is a control deck with a combo finish. Thought this deserved a primer, so strap in. I like this deck nuf said.
The combo is with the two cards contained in the oh so cleverly crafted name, Thragtusk and Worldfire. It’s a simple combination really. You have Thragtusk on the battlefield, you cast Worldfire, EVERYTHING gets exiled, then Thragtusk’s second triggered ability activates leaving you behind a Beast creature token, and you finish them off with the token before they can recover.
Easier said than done there are a lot of obstacles to overcome to make all this work out right.
Thragtusk is a popular card. Bad things happen when your opponent has one out when you want to end the game. There are three ways this deck deals with this.
Using counterspells to stop Thragtusk coming down in the first place.
Use a sweeper spell to destroy theirs and then casting your own Thragtusk afterward.
Having more Thragtusks in play than your opponent. Naturally we run the full compliment ourselves. We are also running some spells that can make additional copies.
Another problem is instant speed removal targeting Thragtusk in response to Worldfire
1. Again counterspells can help.
We run a few burn spells with a converted mana cost of one. Cross your fingers and hope you can restabilize before they do.
Worldfire costs a lot of mana. Ya we have to be a ramp deck too. Fortunately control decks are functioning that way anyway right now.
Thanks for staying with me so far. An actual deck list would seems appropriate. Ya i know, finally. I’m sure some of you have skipped straight too this. Shame on you, but I understand.
Matchup Analysis
Reanimator
I’m talking about the type with Craterhoof Behemoth.
The main thing is to realize that their combo is faster, so you have to play the control. Game 2 gets easier as you side in 3Grafdigger’s Cage and 2Fog. The Fog are important, because grave hate is not enough because of their ramp. Wait for Craterhoof Behemoth with your fog.
Various Aggro mostly Naya for instance.
Play defensively early on only ramping when you can. Out of the sideboard bring in 4Rhox Faithmender. You can also bring in 2Fog, but it’s less helpful if they have a lot of burn.
It is a sideboard plan where you side in all 15 cards. When you cast Recross the Paths you put Shelldock Isle on the bottom of your library so Goblin Charbelcher wont hit it too early. Details.
Hey guys thanks for all the advice. It's nice to get some perspective although some of your values are way different than mine. I ended up just going with my own personal number one dating rule "talk to her about it". i'm kind of dumb for asking you guys I guess. It is still helpful getting other points of view.

Jund Midrange
Syncopate needs to be for Rakdos Return or they reck you. Pithing Needle out of the side for Olivia Voldaren or Liliana of the Veil.
Bant Control, Esper Control, yada yada control
Counter their Sphinx’s Revelation and don’t waste your Thragtusk. 1Pithing Needle may be needed for Nightshade Peddler tricks. 1Elixer of Immortality if they are on the mill you out plan. 2Dispell is for Sphinx’s Revelation. 1Ray of Revelation is a have to have, because once they figure out what you are doing they can exile their own Thragtusks with Detention Sphere or Oblivion Ring.
Thanks for reading.
