Desperate research is ok for rat decks, you'll usually hit about 3 for 2 mana.
Mass reanimation is a good idea for when your rat army gets wrathed, twilight's call is fun, you can pop it at the end of someone's turn for a surprise.
Ok the idea here is to use entomb/buried alive effects to get Haakon into the graveyard and use Ashes of the Fallen set to knights to reuse creatures.
some neat interactions with Haakon: Nameless Inversion: machine gun creatures down for 2 mana each, no Ashes of the Fallen required. Fleshbag Marauder: each other play sacrifices a creature for 3 mana Augur of Skulls: reusable discard
I haven't put the deck together yet, but it'll be mostly for multiplayer,
so I figure the nighthawks are good for discouraging people from attacking, as well as being hard to race when they have a nightmare lash strapped to them.
the marauding knight is a silver bullet if a couple people are playing white, and the Midnight Banshee is for the many token decks that are running around here. Both can be found with a buried alive. Ditto a hexmage for planeswalkers.
It's hard to say without playing it yet, but it feels like it might be able to use something else in the 1-2 drop spot. Also I'm probably missing a great enters the graveyard creature or two.
They're hard to find, but academy rector is great, end of their turn, use a discard outlet to go down to no cards, renounce/Kaervek's Spite everything, tutor the cheese/Barren glory with the academy rector you just sacrificed and win out of nowhere on your upkeep.
Looking at your build I can't recommend doubling cube enough, with omnath it'll get you up to 100 in no time. That and at least try tower of fortunes, (maybe in place of the pack hunts?)

One I've actually had happen was casting a storm herd in response to emma's annihilator trigger (ala leyline of anticipation). Sac 6 tokens to the annihilator, gang block and still have 19 power worth of flying ponies left to swing back with.
I like the list, seems fun to play. Have you thought of copy artifact? If you're running sculpting steel it should make the cut (maybe over sapphire medallion?), rasputin always welcomes more doubling cubes. Also I find temple of the false god decent.

karmic justice makes enchantment wraths a bad idea and is zur tutorable. also I agree, open the vaults, replenish and retether are good by themselves, but against mill they are stellar
Tsabo Tavoc seems like a good choice. She was the general of the phyrexian armies at the start of the invasion, plus being able to pwn the heros' generals at will fits the flavour.
I haven't tried a voltron deck yet, but some of my favourite equipments that I don't see in your list are empyrial plate, grafted wargear, and o-naginata. IMO ogre's cleaver is just plain bad. Also keep in mind after the puppy has shroud you can't equip anything else to him. I second the idea of having some plan B stuff like akroma, loxodon punisher, kor duelist

Ok the idea here is to use entomb/buried alive effects to get Haakon into the graveyard and use Ashes of the Fallen set to knights to reuse creatures.
some neat interactions with Haakon:
Nameless Inversion: machine gun creatures down for 2 mana each, no Ashes of the Fallen required.
Fleshbag Marauder: each other play sacrifices a creature for 3 mana
Augur of Skulls: reusable discard
I haven't put the deck together yet, but it'll be mostly for multiplayer,
so I figure the nighthawks are good for discouraging people from attacking, as well as being hard to race when they have a nightmare lash strapped to them.
the marauding knight is a silver bullet if a couple people are playing white, and the Midnight Banshee is for the many token decks that are running around here. Both can be found with a buried alive. Ditto a hexmage for planeswalkers.
It's hard to say without playing it yet, but it feels like it might be able to use something else in the 1-2 drop spot. Also I'm probably missing a great enters the graveyard creature or two.
Any thoughts?
Looking at your build I can't recommend doubling cube enough, with omnath it'll get you up to 100 in no time. That and at least try tower of fortunes, (maybe in place of the pack hunts?)
