I played Crucible for a long time, but finally cut it. In some matchups, it really shines. Most often, it helped me get to 4+ mana in exchange for a sacrifice in tempo. What I had to ask myself though, was, do I really need that much mana? Is it really worth the tempo?

It's certainly a contender for the best 'budget' lock piece, along with Trinisphere, instead of Nether Void.

Question for Mr0by, what enchantments are you bringing in with the Rector?

When my deck curves out just over 3, its a god send.
As far as my enchantment package. So far its 2 Prison, 3 O-ring and Moat.
    (Not counting the sideboard)
EDIT: Just realized how weak I am to Blood Moon now, damn painter

I really like crucible personally. When it comes down to being extremely vulnerable to wasteland-effects that my factories are coming back. Which atm, are my strongest wincon.
Something to consider, are there any really cheap wrath effects out there?
EDIT: Been messing around with it for a while, and I really like the Rector enchantment toolbox.

Armageddon wouldn't be a bad tech, I can at least free up room by cutting sinkholes down to 2 or out. Making room for PtE.
Also, perhaps you could add to your list Aura of Silence?
I'll work on it a little later tonight.

Like I said, rough draft. You also have access to StP, which while counter productive, can be a game saver. Thankfuly, I can say I have access to vindicates/sinkholes/Scrubs and right now I'm just mulling ideas. Currently, I'm browsing magiccards.info. I'll post when I get a list of white cards worth running Sb or MD. 1249 of them with CMC 3 or less, so give me a minute

    Just a rough draft, but something like;

Sideboard would pack plenty of artifact/Echantment/Grave hate.
I simply like having white for more disruption. I'm still a little low on threats, but I have to be careful with the BBB WW costs.
EDIT: Lulz super secret tech: Deathbringer Liege and Stillmoon Cavalier
Also, I really don't understand why we aren't using Abyssal Persecutor esp for folks running Mono-black. He's a nasty threat that compliments 'Stalker since its damn near impossible to run Tombstalker as a 4-of.

So I was just wondering, since there isn't much else to discuss at the moment.
What about BW LD Pox? I know this one has been discussed multiple times but I'm just wondering if it would fair well in this meta(Dont get to play as much as I used to).
Had to ask, since I already have half the cards mandatory to make the switch.

His point is if it is easy enough for him to his conclusion why has every other christian not come to the same? Easy, christians breed more christians. The have children to add to the church and then recruit their friends/neighbors to further fund the church.

I think the thing you need ask christians is, if god is to supply for all. Why do churchs need money? Why do they continue to ask for you to come every sunday if not more and ask for money? Why do they charge for high holiday shows? Is the purpose not to spread the word of god not line their pockets?

Because everyone thinks differently? Aside from the brainwashed masses the OP is trying to suggest we are.
As for churches needing money, they have bills to pay too.
EDIT: Trying to play devil's advocate, as I know a handful of churches in my area that don't do a damn thing to help you unless you're in the "Circle".

Um if u believe something without proof because u were told to do so, sorry to say yes you are an idiot. The fact the my post is disgusting to you is of little relevance to me.

Hate to point out the obvious but no one is forcing anyone to be affiliated with any religion.

Im really liking the idea of keeping Ensnaring Bridges MD and stalkers in the side. Lots of Wtfs to be had when my op thinks I main both

Wrong. Here's the official Deck Construction rules:

Vintage decks may consist of cards from all Magic card sets, any edition of the core set, and all special sets, supplements, and promotional printings released by Wizards of the Coast.

1996 World Champion is a promotional printing released by Wizards of the Coast. Provided you have a physical copy of the card, it is legal to put in your deck. Technically. Your opponent would almost certainly call a judge and you'd probably have to get multiple rulings on it, but I'm almost positive there's nothing against running one in your deck in any policies anywhere.

EDIT: You could also argue that Un-set cards are legal to play in EDH, as the ONLY document that prohibits them from being played is the Sanctioned Tournament Authorized Cards memo, and EDH games are not WotC sanctioned tournaments. They aren't on the Vintage banned list or anything.

You might want to take this up with maggiccards then.

    Gatherer Card Rulings?, Legality?
This card is not legal in any format

    MSRP isn't law.
I personally don't care what my LGS sells em at, if it helps them stay in business. Kudos.

Game 1, I tend not to keep fast hands because that's an auto-loss to delver. And even if you get to mana screw 'em like this, you're playing pox. You're not exactly very good at winning too quickly, in particular if you get them in a position where they don't play anything so the rack loses its value. It all devolves into a top deck match and maverick has the advantage there.

Game 2, I tend to board out my discard (iok, hymn) in favor of needle, bridge and removal. It makes you more susceptible to thalia, but it also gets rid of even more dead cards late game and that's what a maverick matchup typically boils down to: topdeck battles. And if you needle pridemage and land a bridge, the only thing you'll have to worry about with a typical list is hierarch aggro. Well, some (bastards) do play enlightened tutor toolboxes to screw you, but then you still have your mass removal whereas maverick has no way to counter that (unlike UW). Boarding out the discard also greatly ruins their gameplan if they decide to board in leyline of sanctity. Mulligan down to 5 and all you ruined was 2/3 of liliana.

I wouldn't count on mana screwing them or outtopdecking them. They have tutors and they have fatties. You have enough land to counteract your symmetric pox effects, but maverick doesn't give a damn because it's aggro. So you draw swamp, urborg or factory and they beat your face in with a 7/7 knight, 5/5 ooze or 3/4 hierarch. They don't even need to draw it, just the GSZ they have an ever-increasingly chance to get because the deck goes thinner but the GSZ count does not.

@MrObv: Your list is very similar to mine. Some numbers differ by a unit and one significant difference is that I still run extirpate and two ensnaring bridge in the main. I actually want to go up back to 3, because bridge is that unexpected and game-changing game 1 in many matchups, but I have no idea what to cut. I also think 4 pox is too much. 3 is the maximum, because of its steep cost and steep life loss that basically kills you in aggro matchups.

My sideboard is a mess. I really dislike the bad synergy between ratchet bomb and the artifacts I run.

Yeah, I learned the hard way LD Pox & Rack dont mix.
About Pox, I didn't know what to add in its place. I was trying to get "back to basics" after my deck go so off track I didnt even recognize it anymore. Thats why there is a ton of 4-ofs, lol. I gota get back to playtest ing to see what to cut but I do like the idea of Bridge MD.
    -1 Cursed Scroll
    -1 Pox
+2 Bridge can easily be done.
Imo, in regards to extirpate, its only MD worthy if I'm playing against a lot of combo. Otherwise Bog can do potentially just as much damage if timed well.

"Thin it to win it," I always say as I cut the top few cards of your deck.
    Oh the looks I get.

Finally able to take a less budget approach to my pox. For the past 6 months the only thing I could afford to spend was the dust in my wallet. (I know its not uber-expensive, but at least I can afford to put more into the damn thing)

Depending on the derogatory things, the speaker may well receive a warning/infraction for their statements. If one member were to call another a fascist in WCT, for instance, I'd warn/infract that post for flaming. No one should feel unsafe or bullied on this forum. In a thread discussing something like copyright, you should always focus on attacking your opponent's arguments rather than your opponents themselves.

I realize that, however I just felt I should point out there is no reason to get upset like he did.
EDIT: Coming from a regular user's perspective, since I'm getting "I'm getting put down by the man" vibe from OP.
