Bloodcast is just Warcall, but taken much too far in terms of power level.
The Recruit abilities are exceedingly powerful. Bloodbraid could only cascade one time, and just that was enough to dominate Standard. Getting free spells (creatures even), is just too good.
As for Battleraise, I think it's pretty cool, but I'm not sure whether or not we should be swapping to a graveyard mechanic on the combat realm.
As far as deck critique, it seems like an ok blue deck, but I think it might lack focus - the Sword of X Y on Invisible Stalker is a good plan, and so is Grand Architect+Treasure Mage+Big Artifact plan, but by including both in one deck, you sort of dilute the strengths of both a little. I mean, on the one hand it might be good since you have more general threats, but if you removed the Stalkers and Swords, your deck could be much more explosive with Etherium Sculptor and Chief Engineer which help you play big monsters as early as turn 3 (see this thread). Alternatively, both Tezzerets don't do much for Invisible Stalker if it's already wearing a sword, so you might consider using counter-spells to better protect your swords from artifact destruction and to slow down faster decks decks.
Given you're in Black, I would highly recommend Vendetta over Dismember if you can afford the black early on, and depending on the prevalence of black creatures in your meta. While it will always cost you life, it can cost you less life early on as threats are small, and can kill far bigger threats later in the game.
Toss in some value, a big artifact fatty, and hope to ride the train to reanimator value town?
Hah, I guess
I was also really attracted to the Minamo + Nykthos interaction, which is beyond nutty once you get a Garruk in play. Short of getting Ghost Quartered or having one of them bounced, getting ludicrous mana is as easy is finding both.
After watching Jeff Hoogland's Ojutai Control deck, I became really intrigued by the deck in the second round, but thought it too convoluted. Instead, I chose to focus solely on what I figured was the most robust win condition, Panglacial Wurm, because AFAIK it's the only win condition in modern that doesn't have to be in hand to go off (and as such, dodges Toughtseize, Liliana of the Veil, Vendillion Clique, etc.) plus it can be cast EOT off a fetchland. But casting one Wurm didn't seem big enough, so I turned to Nykthos hoping to get two out off one search effect

Is the intention there to get four Bridge from Below into the graveyard? Modern dredge can't dredge fast enough for that to be reliable, otherwise, yeah, getting 12 free zombies would be a thing.
