Heartbreaking.
This is simply the only place I come for any sort of Magic information, so I'm not quite sure I'll even be paying attention to Magic as much anymore after close.
Truly sorry to see this go. It is, indeed, the end of an era.

May 1, 2018Crazy Pierre posted a message on All Sets Are Good: LegendsWell, people saying Legends is a bad set...it's not really playable in limited or sealed. A lot of the creatures are very expensive to play. When your best limited beater is Thunder Spirit at 1WW and that's a rare card, yikes.Posted in: Articles
I do have a casual Jasmine Boreal deck that's based on destroying evil, peace prevailing, nature and the odd Shuriken, because I had thought for a long time she held a shuriken in her hand, whereas someone pointed out that she's holding a snowflake. Cards such as Fyndhorn Pollen, Northern Paladin, Southern Paladin, Penatarch Paladin, Cleanse, Shuriken, the meld Gisela and Bruna and so on. YOu get the idea, it's not very good but it's fun!
Legends is one of my fave all-time sets, but I always sucked at pack wars. My best card an Elder Land wurm and his? A Mana Drain lol...

Bring the legends to Arena too so I can stomp all over the multiverse with them.
I have bought one of the pre-cons (the one with K'rrik) for re-sale purposes.
The draft set will either need to include Mana Crypt, Mana Vault/Mana Drain or at the very least Sol Ring.
No other real opinion until spoilers start, that's when I know whether I will be getting this or more Pioneer staples.
Glad I won't have to face that on Arena starting this Friday.
Will wait and see, but I'm more likely to buy the Eldraine special boosters at the moment. Demand in my circle is pretty high at the moment for the alt-arts.
This. You can still Storm out or attempt to Dredge or do other interactions, but decks won't feel obligated to just jam Faithless Looting because it's amazing.
As for Mystic, there's likely a supplemental set around the winter holidays, I expect to see it there.
This could quite easily remove RIP and turn Helm into a janky "Embrace the Chaos" object. Of course, this is sorcery speed, and needs to resolve, but it's still decent.
Very nice inclusions there.
A
B C
D
If D activates this, then C goes next instead of B, then when it goes to A, you'd re-use it and get C to go again, then you'd get a turn.
With the self-exile, B is at least going to get a turn, two turns later instead of immediately.
This has the potential to get really swingy. A player that has a strong board presence could be made to go next in turn order and essentially seal the game.
Also fits nicely into the "Embrace the Chaos" philosophy EDH holds dear.
Sun Titan is a fine reprint, they are not expensive but almost always sold out in local stores.
Glad to see the decks are branching out in different directions, will give brewers a ton of fun.
Sure, you can do infinite mana, but that's trivially easy with Basalt Monolith and so on.
I'm obviously interested in the Rakdos deck, since it hits right notes in my Xantcha, but probably singles again this year.
I really feel that they should axe the Commander pre-cons for a period and just do a booster box of Commander staples. Tack on an unwieldy draft format if you must, but just drop a reprint box with staples (Solemn, Failing that, some other limited product that can insert them back, such as Battlebond or Conspiracy.
OH yeah, you guys are right! Man, this card is soooooooooo politicky, I love it!
