Dream twist cannot work as a reliable win con because any of the zeniths, e.g. Black sun Zenith, which is played by a lot of decks, can be casted and drawn over and over again.
I always find it weird when people say Primeval Titan is a good card.
Sure, its an awesome key card in Valukut. But that's basically it. It does next to nothing in most other decks: you're already at 6 mana, what else are you hoping to ramp into?
I used to run 2 Vital Splicers in place of the Metamorphs, but I realized copying other people’s Titans was the only way I could win certain matches. It’s a great idea though, so I will try to make space for him.
Beast Within is an awesome idea too. Either one of Blade / Master / Vital Splicer will ensure I’m always on the winning end during beast vs golems conflicts.
I’m toying with the idea of Solemn Simulacrum, since he’s a golem too! But the 4 drop slot is getting cluttered.
Common problems I have for this deck is that I can’t deal with flyers very well. I even lost to my friend’s (get this) *Griffin* deck multiple times. That, and I die often to any kind of aggro strategies if I don’t get a good draw.
I think that the UW version will solve these issues and is awesome with Venser, but I really want to make the GW version at least playable.
The blessing/vines/aceticism is there to prevent a one-sided DOJ when Precursor Golem enters the board.
Vines does double duty as it is an instant kill when Precursor Golems and his 2 buddies attack.
In my previous WW (SOA-ZEN period) I was playing only these 2 allies. There’s no need to dilute the deck with more allies. They are awesome on their own, even if you don’t draw more than 1 copy.
Hada Freeblade is a lousier Elite Vanguard, but WW absolutely needs 8 copies of one drops to keep up the agro-ness.
I think WW really lost a lot when Path to Exile rotated out, without a cheap instant speed creature removal, the deck just folds completely to splinter twin decks, or loses tempo to a lot of decks.
My secret tech card is Leaden Myr, which I believe not a lot of people have tried, Leaden Myr allows you to cast a 3rd turn Phyrexian Obliterator or a 4th turn Mind Sludge, both of which can be pretty devastating when casted early. The Leaden Myr can also act as a body to pick up Lashwrithe late game.
Do let me know your comments on how I can improve my deck
White weenie traditionally does not play draw spells, but we do have an answer when its mid / late game and you've run out of gas/cards or after a board sweeper.
Conqueror's Pledge
Elspeth Tirel
Hero of Bladehold
I would suggest playing 3-4 of either of these cards (or a combination, to make games interesting).
A copied spell is not a casted spell, it does not activate Rage Extractor.
This question was semi-answered in Cascade Acension decks during Alara.
A copied cascade spell (e.g. Bituminous Blast) is not casted, thus will not trigger its cascade effect. Only the original spell has cascade.
Add 2x Royal Assassin for removal.
