I'd really like to see Engineered Explosives, Chalice of the Void, Winter Orb, and Ensnaring Bridge.

A couple weeks ago I cashed out my account by receiving as many MTGO tickets as I could. I paid a 50 point bounty on each one which is basically paying a dollar's worth of points (66 cents equals 100 points) so I didn't lose that much. It was ******* ridiculous that I offered a 25% (or 30%, can't remember) bounty on Scalding Tarns and no one sent them to me and I waited a long time. I ended up buying them with the cash I got for selling tickets, and had some money left over. And when I offered 25-30% in bonus points that was equal to or more than the cash value for tarns, that was all of the points in my account. So by trading for MTGO tickets and selling those for cash, I saved money than if I had spent all of my points.

    Here's my decklist:

I'd like to know what to take out in the main deck for Chandras and whether or not I should get any. I also need to put two Relic of Progenitus in the sideboard but I don't know what to take out. It's definitely not Crumble to Dust since there are a couple RG trons players in my area.

Seems like a decent card in the Fabricate deck. Just always choose servos and you get some card advantage in exchange for tempo.

    It says nontoken.

Which is why you choose Servo. You have a creature for when you bounce back your fabricate dudes.

    I did read the card.

Didn't sound like it, you should have articulated better. Because it sounded like you wanted to bounce the servo tokens and not the actual fabricate cards.

Black is the killing color, it needs efficient removal. Considering white has Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, Condemn, Sunlance, Declaration in Stone, etc it shouldn't be too hard to ask that this at least cost BB.

The only one of those you mentioned that is relevant to this discussion is Declaration in Stone - since my point is specifically about Standard. All the others share the same environment with Doom Blade (and probably other cards - I don't play Modern so I have no idea anything about that format)

Declaration in Stone not only exiles instead of kills (which is a very white effect) but it also has a drawback when it comes to non-token creatures because it gives clues. Removing a bunch of creatures all at once is a very white effect (Planar Outburst comes to mind) It is also a sorcery, not an instant. (I believe I said previously that I could easily see BB for a sorcery version of Grasp of Darkness)

Murder is plenty efficient for an instant-speed broad removal. Grasp of Darkness would be 'right' as a sorcery, or costing 1 or 2 more at instant (which is still cheaper than Throttle, which I agree is overcosted)

Doesn't matter if it's in standard or not. These cards were in standard at some point. Even if Declaration in Stone hits one creature it's still really good. White shouldn't get unconditional undercosted removal with a slight drawback when black is the killing color. Black needs a removal spell on the level as Ghastly Demise. Commander got a double Doom Blade costing BB if a creature died that turn, that card should have seen a standard reprint. And I don't really care to argue that we should have gotten a card better than Sorin's Thirst. The spoiled card is just plain bad. I don't care if the standard is supposed to have a lower power level.

They couldn't have made this cost two mana? I'd rather play Grasp of Darkness and Murder.

Because Grasp of Darkness was a mistake and way undercosted. The exact same effect in SOI costs twice as much.

It's good in the Ally lifegain deck - sometimes I wish Alms of the Vein hits creatures. This does.

Vehicles are weird. It's like they took the terrible proto-equipment like Power Armor and turned it on its head. That said, I'm pretty excited for it. Even just the few we've seen look interesting if not exactly constructed playable. Depala might change my mind on that, depending on how good dwarves turn out to be.

I'm just happy that they brought back dwarves, period. I don't care if they're playable.

They ******* lied to us. They put metalcraft on a card but didn't use the ability word.

It could be real from people doing special preview drafts, about 7 or 8 LGSs did a draft. There's one 30 miles north of me doing one tomorrow.

Well, I mean... of course? Deck used to cost $1,200.00 for recruiters + the rest of the deck, and now, even with the insane pre-sale price of $30.00 for an in-print RARE (lol) that price just dropped to $120 + other stuff. Of course people are gobbling up Aluren.

Stay away, though. The deck is fun but not a tournament-winner, and probably is slightly worse than Misthollow Griffin combo. To me, that puts the max price for Aluren, long-term, at under the price of Food Chain, which is $19.00 or so in paper.

    Buyer beware.

Martin Goldman-Kirst, a semi-pro player always plays it whenever he's playing legacy, and he's made other people want to play the deck. He's played the deck to some success making top 8s in major tournaments, though I don't remember how many.

LMAO we get a handful of decent reprints and people are calling Conspiracy 2 better than Eternal Masters already? That's ridiculous. Eternal Masters had tons of great reprints and buying packs for $10 was worth it. I'm not going to list everything, but on eBay/Facebook groups, you can get Karakas for $45, Force of Will for $85, etc. Not to mention the other much needed reprints like Wasteland at rare and a ton of good commons and uncommons. Nimble Mongoose was a $3 uncommon before it got reprinted. Sure EMA didn't have everything, but what do you expect? They have to put some chaff in it, otherwise it would be impossible to find like the first Modern Masters set was.
