I'm working on a custom set based around planeswalkers and legendary permanents, and I had an idea for an artifact which replaces a planeswalker in play with another version of it.
I then decided that making it only work with planeswalkers was too narrow, so I've tried to make it work with creatures as well, without exactly writing Planeswalker or Creature on the card.
It's a flavor thing.
The problems are, I can't decide how to word it in oracle-ese, and I'm not sure how much it should cost.
This is the card I have at the moment, and types in this case is supposed to mean anything from Creature-Goblin to Planeswalker-Jace.

Sacrifice Mirror of Legacies: Exile all permanents attached to a chosen permanent you control, then sacrifice that permanent. Search your library for another permanent that shares at least two types with that permanent and put it on to the battlefield. Attach all permanents exiled with Mirror of Legacies to that permanent. Shuffle your library.

The set has a few strong tribal themes, as each Planeswalker brings their own theme with them.

Target artifact creature gains +X/+0 until end of turn, where X is its power. If U was spent to cast Overclock, that creature is unblockable until the beginning of the end step. At the beginning of the end step, destroy that creature.
I made a warewolf-esque card when I was working on some "return to Ravnica" cards.
It's a Grul/Simic hybrid-thing and I'm not sure how balanced it is. Also, it doesn't really have a name yet.

Wee Dragonauts has been one of my favorite cards since I started playing with a pile of my friend's random Ravnica block cards. It's far from the most powerful creature, but the way it can be used as defensive tech with counterspells or as a giant swingy attack with a handful of Lightning Bolts makes it my favorite Izzet-colour creature for casual modern, and therefore my favorite card.
So, how should I phrase Mirror of Legacies so that it can exchange an Akki Underling for an Adder-Staff Boggart or a Winnower Patrol, for example?
More importantly, it needs to be able to turn Jace Beleren with 6 loyalty into Jace, the Mind Sculptor, still with 6 loyalty.
Now that I think about it, the name sucks. Suggestions?

Your cyber-necromancy idea sounds cool. I'd suggest a heavy zombie theme for non-artifact creatures.
