Feb 4, 2014Hackworth posted a message on Launch Giveaway!Wee Dragonauts has been one of my favorite cards since I started playing with a pile of my friend's random Ravnica block cards. It's far from the most powerful creature, but the way it can be used as defensive tech with counterspells or as a giant swingy attack with a handful of Lightning Bolts makes it my favorite Izzet-colour creature for casual modern, and therefore my favorite card.Posted in: Announcements

There are a few cards like this already (none exactly like this) and they tend to be between 2 and 5 cmc.
My general flavour shorthand is that if something includes creature sacrifice it's probably black, so that's why I chose that cost.
DISCLAIMER: I'm a university student, not an experienced philosophy debater person.
@your sig: I don't often sing national anthems as they are usually terrible songs. Also, why would Darwin defend New Zealand? He's dead, and to my knowledge never designed weapons. Also his name wouldn't scan. Maybe "Kim defend New Zealand".
Cosmological argument: I disagree with all three premises because physics is really weird. Check out that stuff about the universe possibly being the nth one of an apparently endless loop. Also, starting with complexity is never a good start because it gives more stuff to explain.
The Argument from Design is silly, as an alternative has been shown to work (lol natural selection). Also standard protests to things being designed by a perfect god include "the human retina is on backwards, what's up with that?" and "the hand/foot is basically a mutant foot/hand, and that's bloody lazy"
Ontological Argument: the world doesn't care what you think. Also, amusing fact: it's possible to have triangles with +180 degree sum angles if they're drawn on a sphere.
Miracles: because no-one has ever lied while writing things that make their group look awesome. Never ever. Also, "I do not understand how this works, therefore god" is lazy thinking.
Alright, the coffee is wearing off. I'ma bounce.
Something like that, but worded more clearly and/or so they would work? I'm not sure my Oracle-ese is up to this.
I mean, everyone** experiences the world through the filters of their senses and thoughts, but I think people need to get used to the idea that these filters can be less than accurate, you know?
Also, as I understand it the human mind has an amazing ability to fit information to expectations. That's part of why science is so meritocratic/collaborative: lots of different points of view and they have to be supported by results.
*I'll say no more here, so as not to fall foul of social norms or law. You pick your poison and take your chances and all that.
**Probably this should have "as far as I know" bolted on, as should everything here, but that way lies madness.
Lightsteel Colossus - 12
Artifact Creature - Golem
Trample
Llightsteel Colossus is indestructible.
Lightsteel Colossus can't have counters placed on it.
If Lightsteel Colossus would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, reveal Lightsteel Colossus and shuffle it into its owner's library instead.
11/11
Still very simple design though.
I'm not sure how to cost it, because there are quite a few more interactions than Robert's Planeswalker Hoser.
It was a glorious mental image, and you have my full support.
White gets lots of leveler effects, and flavorwise thinks of itself as just, but not necessarily nice. Examples:
Planar Cleansing
Armageddon
Wrath of God
Admittedly white doesn't get so much land destruction nowadays, but this feels like a Super-Wrath to me.
Of course, you could always make it a gold card.
Edit@Oculus: Damnation maybe? That was planar chaos though.
I'm not sure if Brushwagg007's totem armor idea makes sense with these, because the flavor would be something like the hive protecting a creature which then stops being part of the hive. That just feels odd to me.
