Maybe Gideon has no board impact the time you cast him but it could be a serious threat for your opponent if cant handle it, specially in a control deck.
By the way, Why does Gideon art has an Eye floating at his left side?? Do you notice it?? I know it may be just a non-intentional result but I just can't un-see it @_@
Also, what is supposed to be that blot that is over his weapon (over the expansion symbol) a tree?? smoke?? ... Don't understand.
Nop, the clone enters the battlefield as a 0/0 Shapeshifter because at the moment it enters the battlefield there is no other creature for its ability.
+1: Discard an Instant or sorcery Card, then return target instant or sorcery card from your graveyard to your hand.
-2: Search your library for an instant or sorcery card and reveal that card. Shuffle your library, then put that card on top of it.
-7: you get an emblem with "Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, you may copy this spell up to twice. You may choose new targets for the copies".
Anyone else think they should include limited edition sleeves to these? I am sure they could do it without adding more than 2-4 dollars to the cost and it would be another potential selling point. Perhaps throw it in as a mail in offer and do the classic send 4 dollars + proof of purchase to ~.
It would help make them completely tournament ready, that was the poor kid doesn;t get laughed off the table with this sleeveless cards ]=

Most times you activate the first ability when it hits the board. When really needed you activate the second. For example to take down an opponent Baneslayer or Grave Titan.
It is common used to protect your self and other planeswalkers and forcing the opponent to do a bad attack (sending creatures against a defending BaneSlayer or Sun Titan).
And when you have control of the board it may be used as a Finisher.
I agree with all people here. But if your meta force you to play artifact/enchantment removal, you should complement with things like Liquimetal Coating.
Could someone tell me what the card allegedly does? I didn't come across the thread until the card was removed from the first post and I'm quite curious given the discussion that has occurred.
