I'm not arguing that Hallowed Spiritkeeper isn't playable or all of those cards are better but when thinking we need to keep the rest of the CMC in mind.
I like Spiritkeeper more than all of these cards except Splicer, Flickerwisp, and Apparition.
Obviously missing the 2/2 body and recursion potential of jailer is a bummer. And it also whiffs when the creature you want to remove derives its power from static or non-tap activated abilities. But it also has some benefits as removal —- it functions even if the monarchy is being passed back and forth, and doesn’t come with awkward potential to retriever opposing etbs.
Overall though being 1 cheaper is a huge benefit, and its monarchy (super strong) attached to something that makes keeping the monarchy much easier. Should be a slam dunk at all sizes imo and one of the strongest blue cards.
Preferably, these spell lands shouldn't cost more than 1 mana over their base effects (unless they can ETB untapped or something). Planar Cleansing isn't even that good since you really can't break its symmetry without Reveillark / Selfless Spirit or something. I think Akroma's Vengeance does everything this card wants to do, but better.
Island signet Vengeance 4 other spells is pretty trash on the play, and island signet this 4 other spells is pretty great.
The wrath side being cheaper is pretty good, but cycling 3mis waaaaaaaaay worse than just being playable as land. It’s definitely doesn’t “do everything this cards wants to do, but better.”
This card is a slam dunk. When two of your modes are “painless colored source” and “untapped color source” there’s a heckuva lot of leeway in the 3rd mode.
I think this card is dope and being slept on. Replacing itself and eating removal is good for 3 mana, replacing itself and trading on the ground os good for 3 mana, replacing itself and casting 5+ drops ahead of curve is great for 3 mana. Suspect this will see wide adoption as people play with it more.
My gut tells me the 4 mana, 3 loyalty, defense is a -3 thing is going to be a problem. I think they he will be fine, even interesting but it is not like 3feri or JtMS. I think it is probably still lower than Jace AoT, Will Kenrith and Tamiyo.
You get two activations per turn cycle. So you play it, +1 to 4 loyalty. On opponents turn, you protect with -3, leaving Teferi at 1 loyalty. Isn't this the exact same play pattern as T3feri and JTMS?
T3feri: 3 mana, opponent is set back on mana, you’re up a card
JTMS: 4 mana, you’re card neutral but have 2 loyalty, opponent is set back on mana
This card: no ability provides card advantage until the ult, - doesn’t set opponents back on development at all. If the -3 was bounce that would be a radically different ballgame, but as is this is a pretty fragile loot engine that I doubt makes the cut.
I would just houserule worldknit to work with companions tbh. It’s extremely clearly in the spirit of the card.
On the other hand, good world knit decks are closer to 50 cards anyway in our experience.
As for Yorion, I want to test how the companions ability works out, even if the likely answer is “not worth it.” One of the big problems is if you want to have 32+ Other nonlands it’s hard to pick up adequate fixing.
As others have said, being forced to choose between the trigger and killing a walker with other swords suuuuuucks. This is a pretty solid trigger, maybe the 3rd or 4th best is my guess.
I don’t think you should try to play 10 swords at anything smaller than 720. I’d recommend picking 5 that are 2 of each color depending on your personal preference. Guessing that for me that will be Fire Ice, Feast Famine, Truth Justice, and then either WB+GR or WG+BR. Might be a long time until all are available though. Fast mode completion would be 2+3, medium 2+2+1, and slow 1+1+1+1+1 (finish in like 2024).

Z3N is already looking redonkulous for cube.
