Decrying sexism is not enough, every community member should embody an "its about the Gathering" ideal.
Thank you for being "loud" about this, and don't stop.

Utterly unique and off the wall. Downright bizarre abilities, typing and casting cost! Yet somehow she is an outstanding general that strikes the balance between "cutthroat" and "casual" perfectly, singlehandedly enabling the group hug archetype in those colors. Her art is beautiful and her backstory relatable.
(Runners up for me would be Birthing Pod, Eye of the Storm, and Johnny, Combo Player because I am one.) - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtgcom/arcana/999 is their generic article from Guildpact promotional material. Maybe the bells display some of Ravnica's leylines, or solving the maze is the equivalent of unlocking a message within them?
I have made an EDH deck with him and profusely altered it to reflect the fact that he is the Flash.
I suppose from a story perspective it makes less sense, but mechanically, he is so fast he makes the other team look slow, and that encapsulates super-speed pretty perfectly to me.
I have a friend in this playgroup who has a lot of money (and I think you can predict where this is going.) He insists on playing decks with Emrakul, as well as decks made entirely of counterspells and other degenerate denial methods.
He also on several occasions dropped out of multiplayer team (!!) games because his inability to build decks properly led to extreme resourcing issues, and he saw no way of catching up from a five-land deficit on turn 6.
The way we handled his lack of awareness for the kind of games the others enjoy playing (ie 'casual' ones) was to counter his cutthroat competitiveness and general un-sportsmanship with indifference, and ultimately a policy of "I'm not playing alongside/against that deck, period."
Its messy, and it can be challenging, but I agree either explaining the nature of the games you want to run or outright excluding the individual in question is the only way to reasonably stop people who can't grasp the concept of gaming for the thrill of gaming.
Ah, drat. Is there a more interesting ability to shift to green?
But that's the idea. An ostrich is one of the fastest land mammals. Foxen are sly and swift and altogether hard to catch.
I have no defence for Blacknob, since I was running out of steam by the time that came around.
How balanced (or not) would you say these are?

With the emphasis on the story they (allegedly) plan to introduce, this would make kitchen table magic more akin to roleplaying, with each pc "planeswalker" joining a guild by playing a deck of those colours, multiclassing to get wedges or shards... could be fun.
You can only copy a token you control. I'd say that despite Clone's rarity this card's ability is different enough that the rarities need not match.
Why is Jester not a creature class? That'd be amazing.
Their commonality would probably lie in their "religious" nature, Orzhov being a corrupt church type thing and Selesnya being a nature cult.

Also... no one in playgroup really... plays tuck effects...
I'll be leaving now.
