Decrying sexism is not enough, every community member should embody an "its about the Gathering" ideal.
Thank you for being "loud" about this, and don't stop.

Utterly unique and off the wall. Downright bizarre abilities, typing and casting cost! Yet somehow she is an outstanding general that strikes the balance between "cutthroat" and "casual" perfectly, singlehandedly enabling the group hug archetype in those colors. Her art is beautiful and her backstory relatable.
(Runners up for me would be Birthing Pod, Eye of the Storm, and Johnny, Combo Player because I am one.) - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
I assumed that when the packages were spoiled, actually. Is that unprecedented? Was the general expectation center color = defining colour?
Man. I haven't bought a Magic product since the last Commander set, and this one is definitely going to ruin my streak (not only because of this card).
The worry from both a flavorist and game play perspective across the board is that an enchantment creature/artifact/whatever is vulnerable to very cheap and widely printed removal. I think that some kind of indestructible clause ("Enchantments you control are indestructible" ?) on each god, preventing them and their equipment from dying easily, might be the wotc solution.
(So proud I only had to click on one to remember who it was.)
Essentially this is mono-G combo. Its very, very clunky, but it creates games you remember, not games others want to forget (mantra).
For example, after slow-rolling for a while and controlling the board with permanent destruction, Tooth and Nail for Seedborn Muse and an Ant Queen-type card. Pump out lots of tokens on each players turn.
Alternatively, a mana doubler + Magus of the Candelabra + Helix Pinnacle
If you are wanting a fun/not an immediate target/not a big money sink/FUN general, that skirts the line of interactive control/combo/token/ramp, Patron does not disappoint.
