    You wan't banable material ?

    Snapcaster's Will 1UB
    Instant
Cards in your graveyard gains Flashback until end of turn. The flashback cost is equal to its mana cost. (You may cast that card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.)

    This is banable material.

And is there any abilities or spells that wouldn't change if their condition changes while they are on the stack ?

Let's say I have a Wellwisher into play and it is the only Elf on the Battlefield. I activate it and my opponent answers by killing it with, let's say, Hornet Sting.

Would I gain 1HP or 0HP as she is not on the battlefield when it will be the ability's turn on the stack and there is no Elf in play when it happens as the Hornet Sting killed my only elf ?

And please explains why it is that way.

  • posted a message on Chapin argument ?
I just opened the Pro Tour Stream and was faced with Patrick Chapin arguing with the judge about some special ruling, which was denied by the judge and made him lost the game.

Anyone have the full recap of the argument and ruling because I am curious ?

  • posted a message on Magic: The Gathering coming to the Big Screen
I am pretty sure I read in one of the articles on the subject that they are planning to span the series and build it to be on scope with Harry Potter and LOTR.

This means, lot of screen time and lot of movies. I believe this is a positive thing as most of the current story arcs are spanning on multiple books or would seem really bland as a single 2 hour movie.

Yes. Because of your greed, those boxes never reached the hands of the players that would have bought them.

Due to this, several players never picked up the game. One of these players would have gone on to be on the design and development team. Because this person never started playing, there was noone there to talk Wizards off the cliff when Urza was broken. Wizards of the Coast ceases production of Magic the Gathering after Urza's block. They try to rebuild themselves around their recently purchased TSR.
This doesn't work, and in the year 2000, Wizards closes it doors.

Thanks to D&D and Magic: The Gathering not existing, several relevant people will never meet their business partners or romantic partners.
Multiple companies never exist. Untold amounts of innovation never occur.
    Children are not born.

By your actions, you've caused more lives to cease being than all the wars, all the despots and all the plagues and famines in the history of the world. All because you're too cheap to pay several hundreds of dollars for dual lands.

Oh my god, what a monster I am ! D:

I guess i'll just take 4-5 boxes instead of ''a lot''

    This should spare lives.

I think I would go back to ABUR days, buy a lot of boxes, keep them sealed and come back. The major setback I can see with that plan is my lack of 1993 paper currency.

I'd then tell them to fix Magic Online before what happened now happened

    Did I miss anything ?

So yeah, a situation appeared for which I had no answer today.

I had a Purphoros, God of the Forge into play, I had enough devotion for him to be a creature and I tried to enchant him with a boon satyr. When the Satyr was on the stack, my opponent destroyed one of my permanent, making me lose the red devotion necessary to keep Purphoros a creature.

What happens with the Satyr ? Does he come into play as a creature, fizzle and goes to the graveyard or still attach himself to a Purphoros who's not a creature ?

  • posted a message on 15$ Drafts, 1Pack-Per-Person... Upset
I am a store manager here in Quebec, Canada.

In Quebec, the average pack sells for 4$ taxes included(3.48+tx) and a pack cost the store around 2.20$.

Where I work at we sell packs for 5$(4,35+tx) and we have a 5 for 20$ combo. We have 2 type of Drafts. 12$ drafts with no price pool apart of promo's and 15$ drafts with a price pool consisting of 1-pack per player.

We can't really go under that if we still wanna make some sort of small profit.

I fail to see why the gateless would go for Dimir first. Dimir is the kind of guild that would actually control the gateless movement and deal with the other guilds using them as a tool

I actually like it as a sideboard card in Red. Reading you guys I feel like most of you are implying it can actually be a good main-deck card.
