I like it. This is weirdly looking like mine own deck except for 4-5 different card choices. Ahue. I like the duals very black bordered.
Lol, The deck you designed is a lot of fun to pilot. I still think you're missing out by not playing Realm Seekers.
Favorite play of mine: A player uses Karn Planeswalker to exile one of my lands. I respond with Teferi's Response. They were dumbfounded! The look on their face after they read the card was priceless.
The only one I'd say that's a rube-goldberg esque answer is his Realm Seekers option. Most of the rest (excluding Faerie Macabre) seem to be emergent answers out of the interactions between cards that should be considered for a deck anyways.
I merely meant that the more cards that are required to deal with a one card problem, the harder it is to have all the pieces available to you should the situation arise. In some instances, it also limits your options even further due to color requirements (Crop Rotation + Bojuka Bog, for example).
The deck in my signature (Karrthus) is where I play a variety of these cards already. I don't rely on having the perfect setup every time that is why I run several redundant ways to accomplish my goal. At times I will also rely on my opponents. (Not too often though.) A lot of these cards are great on their own and see a lot of play in my area. These posts are just examples of the grave hate to deal with Recurring Nightmare. Mindslicer, Wheel of Fortune, Teferi's Puzzle Box etc. are also ways to get the card out of a player's hand. These options are commonly used to deal with Constant Mists in my group.
1. Remove all legal targets in the player's graveyard in response to Recurring Nightmare being cast - The ability cannot be activated, and it just sits there. - Name all the cards that exile an entire graveyard at instant speed (I assume that there will be times when there will be a stocked yard, just like there will be times when it's rather empty, so answers like Withered Wretch and Relic of Progenitus won't work). Now, throw out all the Tormod's Crypt cards, because no recursion player with half a brain will cast a massive 'interact with the graveyard' card with a Tormod's Crypt effect in play. Outside of something sneaky like Crop Rotation into Bojuka Bog or Ravenous Trap, what playable options are there?
Not that I left these out, but more I haven't thought much about them. This seems like a different play style than my own to answer the same problem (grave hate). I like it and very much approve.
Sorin is usually not a fun card to play against and it leaves a bad taste in players mouths. This deck is fully capable of defeating a table without him. Crypt Rats might not always be the easiest to use, but if I could support three black for Sorin than the rats have a home. The rats are also a decent board wipe, hit players life totals and can be recurred.
For recursion reasons Tilling Treefolk will replace Life from the Loam. I found that I no longer wanted to dredge this card because I didn't want to lose anything to grave hate.
Some of those are decent cards that should be ran even without RN, but Rube-Goldberg solutions aren't as easy to assemble, and make the "run more answers" or "there are plenty of answers" arguments harder to entertain.
I'm not telling anyone to run more answers or that answers exist. I personally run these cards and rely on them. I run multiple combinations of these cards in my decks depending on what colors I am playing. They have worked for me and can catch other players off guard. Grave hate is a thing where I play because I make it happen.

I picked up the last card I needed to complete this deck at GP Minneapolis. (Foil Karador) I also had the privilege to meet and play several games with ISBPathfinder.
I was talking about something as in some sort of ramp by turn 4 is kinda the go to for anything with ramp since that is when it is best. By getting rid of any ramp you open up options the same way.
I change my list so frequently that I no longer have a digital form of it that resembles what it is now. I'm busy doing stuff prerelease weekend, but I'll try to find some time to put together my current list. It is a little awkward to go through a deck a card at a time with only my computer for light.
In my meta O-stone only goes off if someone has enough mana to activate it same turn. Not even then if someone is playing esper that day (The blue players protect their mana rocks). Not that Karador is particularly heartbroken when an o-stone goes off, it is just there is a lot of good/repeatable artifact/enchantment/non creature removal around. For a while there was so much I actually cut aura shards because it required instant speed creature support to trigger even once half the time.
On a side note about Aura Shards sometimes I also run Dryad Arbor in the same deck and sit on my fetches to have an instant speed creature come into play.
The idea is based off of control and cantrips. I stick to most of the list myself, but I have about five or six differences in card choice.
I'd be happy to explain some card choices if you'd like.

Sorin Markov -> Crypt Rats.

Ways I have actually exiled graveyards or cards in graveyards during games.
Winding Canyons, Alchemist's Refuge, Sneak Attack, Chainer, Dementia Master, Chord of Calling or Corpse Dance into Agent of Erebos, Angel of Finality or Scavenging Ooze.
Crop Rotation into Bojuka Bog or Vesuva copying a Bog.
Instant speed Reap and Sow into Bojuka Bog
Rakdos Charm - This card is just amazing in my opinion.
Instant speed reshuffle effect - Alchemist's Refuge into Time Spiral or Timetwister.
Stonecloaker to take out the targeted card.
Nihil Spellbomb as a deterrent.
Realm Seekers and say a Burgeoning trigger. (Less reliable option) Knight of the Reliquary is an option.
Sacrificing Academy Rector in response to either find Agent of Erebos or get a constellation trigger from the Agent.
I have not gone as far to play with Faerie Macabre.
More options exist, but these are what I personally use.
I even had someone Vampiric Tutor for a Bojuka Bog only to reveal it with a Druidic Satchel against me. (Clever girl ...)
Sylvan Primordial -> Yavimaya Dryad
Plague Boiler -> Birthing Pod
Bone Shredder -> Shadowborn Demon
Leyline of the Void -> Agent of Erebos
Yavimaya Elder -> Realm Seekers
Steel Hellkite -> Bane of Progress
Avatar of Woe -> Overseer of the Damned
Dawntreader Elk -> Lifeblood Hydra
Savage Lands -> Flamekin Village
General and basics
Fetches and duals
Multicolored, bounce, and some utility lands
Utility lands and sac outlets
Tutors
Ramp and draw
Recursion

More removal and shuffle effects

My setup uses Survival of the Fittest, Entomb, Vampiric Tutor with Bazaar of Baghdad, a way to flash them into play with a sac outlet, Greater Good, Read the Runes, etc.
Riftsweeper is my backup plan.
Time Stop is useful.

Rootwater Thief
Meddling Mage
Shadowmage Infiltrator
Sylvan Safekeeper
Voidmage Prodigy
Solemn Simulacrum
Dark Confidant
Rakdos Augermage

Spiritmonger was a fan submitted card.
Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund – aggro/control
Hazezon Tamar – token army / aggro
Venser, Shaper Savant – bounce stuff/control
Karador, Ghost Chieftain – control
Child of Alara – cantrip control
Zur the Enchanter - combo
Sharuum the Hegemon – stax
Damia, Sage of Stone – combo
Norin the Wary – sometimes you want to watch the world burn
Nath of the Gilt-Leaf – elves/discard (built for my girlfriend)
Work in progress: Sheoldred, Whispering One – being built for my girlfriend
Sol Ring seems to sound like a meta call. Most decks I play have Oblivion Stone in them and some also have Pernicious Deed and Plague Boiler. I am also used to playing against Child of Alara and the occasional Null Rod and Stoney Silence. We also see other artifact hate.
On a side note about Aura Shards sometimes I also run Dryad Arbor in the same deck and sit on my fetches to have an instant speed creature come into play.
