Honestly sorry guys i had a horribly busy weekend, first time I've been able to look at this in a couple of days. I guess this will be extended to next week, tomorrow i will get to updating the weeklies.
I'm diggin both ideas guys, how would you guys feel about trying to use some altered art images from our wonderful art section? Maybe digital and norm altars, could have some interesting possibilities.
My vote is going for Ace this time, I loved the avatar idea. The 2 signatures were'nt my favorites, rivenor's seemed to have just a bit too much empty space and the black mana skull didn't have enough contrast and didn't match the pheyrexian symbol's glow. Some more texture or images between urborg and the dragon would have been more interestingwill o the wisp could have been and interesting option.
Ace again great idea on the avatar i just don't like the slide with the "&" its kinda hard to see at a glance, the signature was just ok in my book, I don't really like the placement or blending of nissa(albeit it is a hard art to place, especially in a vertical banner). The 2 green glows in the center dont look quite right to me, all the same size and in a diagonal line. I notice you do like to add those kind of effects to your work, maybe try to add more shape and direction to the additions. Just my opinion tho.

No problem with the request very descriptive of what you want is really all there needs to be. Not often do i get requests for 3 arts of the same artist, Richard kane has a really unique style should be nice.

Weekly Challenge 282
This week the challenge will be change the color of a mtg art.
Specifics:
This week everyone will have the chance to change any single art to a different color than its natural one(red jaces, blue sorins, etc) make a NON-QUADRILATERAL signature with your art.
This will end Sunday as always.

Hello everyone, if you hadn't seen the weekly contest is back up(not as lively as I'd like but back). I'm sure we will get some more people coming around soon enough, but it was expressed that a team challenge would be widely accepted. Now the one problem with having a team weekly would be that we would need a good number of people to make a solid entry list and poll. This is my solution to that, I'll just post this in this area so everyone sees it and now we can have future signups for the week.
The Plan: Just post here if you would be willing to participate and i will stick you on the list, when we fill up a good number of people we can start the challenge.
The List: 1: Megabug 2 Ace 3 Rivenor 4 5 6 7 8
The Teams: The teams will be random and consist of 2 people(this time, maybe different in the future), I will use a random number generator(probably dice ) to determine the teams. This should keep everything even, though i don't anyone would be doing anything to cheat, etc. In the event of a uneven number of people for the teams I will just drop from the challenge to make sure everyone has a spot.
The Second Reason for this Thread: To raise awareness! The weekly contest is a bit lonely at the moment(ace and rivenor must be getting tired of just me by now) and the suggestion box is running low. I urge everyone to take part even if its just in the polling process. I would especially like more people to add their thoughts to the suggestion box everything and anything is great(even those weird ones:)). Team challenge ideas are great also, that could be a great way to start off the team events.

Use a single color(or colorless) to create a vertical signature image and avatar. Use any combo of of card arts representing your specific color. Let loose and have fun with it this week.
