    Artifact - R
If you would draw a card, you may draw two cards and lose 2 life instead.
Whenever a creature you control dies, you may gain 2 life.

IIW: Finish the bob, goyf, stoneforge, snapcaster cycle with a 2 drop red creature.

    Booom judgings.

    Quote from MDenham
    Disbelieve 2W
    Instant (R)
Exile target permanent. At the beginning of the next end step, if you cast Disbelieve from your hand, return that permanent to the battlefield under its owner's control.
    Suspend 2—3W

IIW: Rage against the coffee machine.

Ok, I dig this, hard fair removal, and a flicker for your own dudes. Because of unmake, I could actually see this costing like 1WW or so for the suspend cost.

    Quote from admirableadmiral
    Harbinger of the End
    Legendary Creature — Avatar [M]
    Protection from everything
    Suspend X — xBBB. X can't be 0.
Whenever a time counter is removed from Harbinger of the End while it's suspended, put a 1/1 black Cleric creature token onto the battlefield.
As Harbinger of the End enters the battlefield, sacrifice all other creatures you control. Harbinger of the End enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it, where X is the number of creatures sacrificed this way.
    0/0

    IIW: Innistrad block mythics

i was at first like, wtf is this guy really gonna make a no cost creature for cascade to muck about with? then I read the card, and was like, oh, ok this seems okay. It doesn't do **** with cascade except kill all your dudes if you had any. I actually feel like he could be stronger and still balanced, like when he comes into play it could be 2 times X or have some evasion or something worth sacrificing all your dudes for, instead of a really expensive token generator that kinda stops making tokens and becomes a vanilla beater. EDIT_oh **** he's another TNN. this changes things. THis guy is good, I don't think its too good, but pretty freaking good. Real time bomb this guy is.

    Quote from swishh
i thought it was cute :\

    Heavenly Host 5WW
    Sorcery (R)
Put two 4/4 white Angel creature token with flying onto the battlefield.
    Suspend 2—2WW
While Heavenly Host is suspended, creatures you control get +1/+1 for each time counter on it.

    IIW: anthems/interzonal interactions

The only problem with this card, is you would never ever want to hardcast it. Suspend it for 2 or 3 in limited lategame and you just win. If the hardcast side was more appealing, this card would be more fun. Not that two angels isn't good, but maybe it could cost six? It is sorcery speed after all.

    Quote from MOON-E
    Snooze
    U Sorcery (R)
When you suspend ~ tap each creature. Creature's don't untap while ~ is exiled.
2, Yawn: Put a time counter on ~. Any player may activate this ability.
    Suspend X - xU
"Five more minutes couldn't hurt, right? I'll just skip breakfast."

    IIW: Un-cember!

I think this is cute, and kind of Un flavored, but doesn't it seem a bit strong? Against aggro, this card is kindof hardcore, you get to use a guy once, and then he does nothing as long as you can spare two mana. I like it, but in a deck tuned to abuse it, It would break aggro in half.

    Quote from AsianInvasion
    Suspension Bridge 3
    Artifact {R}
Whenever a creature attacks, if it didn't enter the battlefield this turn, exile it with a time counter on it. If it doesn't have suspend, it gains suspend.

    IIW: Enemy-color activation.

Okay so I like this one more than the other aggro hate, because it seems like it could be more fun as a reusable flicker for your dudes. Cast something like thragtusk with this out, and that's a lot of freaking value out of two cards. And so I'd like to think that 3 is a bit undercosted, but I couldn't fathom to how low you could go with it, maybe like 4 would be better. Also straight up permafog unless you have hasty creatures... EDIT- nah forgot about suspend's hastey bit. so you get to use your creature once every few turns, and its mirrored, so I'm a little more on board now. Pretty gud.

    Temporal Exhumation 4BB
    Enchantment (R)
Whenver a nontoken creature you control dies, you may exile it with 3 time counters. If it doesn't have suspend, it gains suspend.

IIW: Periodic table of the elementals.

Fun card, seems like a good kitchen table magic build around me card. No real broken business here. Kind of underwhelming actually, could use a bit of a cut on the mana cost, maybe by one or so.

    Quote from AmShegar
    Wormhole
    (:symur:) Enchantment
Suspend X - XUR, where X is the number of nonland permanents on the battlefield
Whenever time counter is removed from ~, exile target nonland permanent at random.
At the beginning of your upkeep, if ~ is an enchantment, return a permanent exiled by ~ to the battlefield at random.

    iiw: v2 // action mechanics

ok so I dig it, but its hella clunky. what if you don't have a 7 sided die handy? is there even a 7 sided die? Look I'm all for warp world style stuff, and weird izzet shenanigans, so this gets points there. I'm just not sure if the effect is fun enough to be a card, remove random stuff, put it back, maybe i don't play enough edh cause this card doesn't do it for me.

    Quote from Lumovanis
    Rift Storm 1RRR
    Sorcery (R)
Rift Storm deals 4 damage to each creature and each player.
    Suspend X—XRRR. X can't be 0.
At the beginning of your upkeep, if Rift Storm is suspended, you may sacrifice a mountain to put a time counter on it.
Whenever a time counter is removed from Rift Storm while it's exiled, put a 2/1 red elemental token with haste and protection from red onto the battlefield.

IIW: Lands with rare abilities (morph, transform, etc)

Sweep now, or sweep later and get some little beaters running around. Kind of sad that they all die in the end though, unless you want to sac your lands.

    Fine card here.

    Quote from Sir Aureus
    3UR
    Sorcery (R)
For each nonland permanent, exile that permanent and put X time counters on it, where X is its converted mana cost. If it doesn't have suspend, it gains suspend.
    Suspend 2—UR

    IIW: Red global enchantments.

I suppose this card is fair, since wrath is cheaper and permakills stuff. Obviously kind of fun if your deck had lots of ETB stuff, though takes a while to get paydirt for anything larger than say 2 cmc.

    Quote from Rudyard
    Delayed Judgement 5WW
    Sorcery (R)
    Suspend 3-Sacrifice a white creature
Return target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield, then destroy all other creatures.

    iiw: hunted becomes hunter

ps. suspend is great, but enchantments are maybe less messy way to go (under the hood), like or

I like this, its like I'LL SHOW YOU A HERO, SUCK ON MY AKROMA KIDS!
I like suspend because it gives you time to react usually, and three turns to prepare for a boardwipe/exile their grave seems fine. I really like it.

    Quote from Lapson2
, it may be an 8/9, but I like Suspend. Maybe it could be reconstructed a la Devotion.

    Future Serpent :5mana::symu::symu:
    Creature - (U)
Clock :1mana::symu: (:1mana::symu:: Exile this from your hand. Put an artifact token into the battlefield with -)
    [+1]: Tap this.
[-5]: Sacrifice this and cast Future Serpent from exile. It gains Haste.
    5/5

, I used planeswalker ability technology, but while it'd need to copy+paste those into the rules (with charge instead of loyalty, and leaving out the 'be attacked and redirected damage' part), it doesn't require a reminder of 6 lines. It also does away with the super annoying triggers and forcing of things. It'd also be easier to do stuff. stuff could be done with some tweaking. (+2: Tap this. Sacrifice a creature or land.) It can't be rushed all at once, but that was annoying actually.

    Mmm, some more tinkering:

    Lava Seal :5mana::symr:
    Enchantment
Sacrifice Lava Seal: Lava Seal deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
Clock 4 - red mana (If you cast this for it's Clock cost, it enters the battlefield with 4 clock counters on it. While it has clock counters on it, it's an artifact with no abilities except ":symtap:: Remove a clock counter from this.")

    Arg, maybe just

    Delayed :3mana::symu:
    Sorcery
    Draw two cards.
2 - :1mana::symu: (:1mana::symu:: Exile this from your hand with 2 time counters on it. It has: "Remove a time counter from this: If no counters remain, cast it. Activate this ability only once per turn, and on your turn.")

So i judge the last one? Here goes nothing. So its like, 2, draw two cards whenever you feel like it after a turn once. Okay, well its strictly better suspend, i guess? since you don't have to use it when the suspend cost is up, but would that not be better as an enchantment with evoke or something? like
    Carddraw Evoker 1U
    Enchantment
When ~ leaves the battlefield, draw 2 cards.
    Evoke 3U
You may sacrifice ~ on your turn at anytime you could play a sorcery.

Ah who knows, nice ideas there I guess.

Small Adult 1 mana kill everything? Ahhh scary, probably too strong, I mean who's gonna sac for it?

    Quote from Ink-Treader
    Temporize W/U mana
    Instant (R)
    Suspend X - XW/U mana
End the turn. Cast this spell only during your turn.
Whenever a time counter is removed from Temporize while it's exiled, put a time counter on each other exiled card and permanent with a time counter on it.
    "Uh... I'm not ready yet."

    IIW: Monuments/memorials/etc.

This is really fun, but doesn't seem so to someone who doesn't know how to abuse stack triggers. One of my favorites so far, I want this card for building around.

    Quote from pstmdrn
    Mage of Moments U
    Creature - Human Wizard R
When Mage of Moments is turned face up, you may cast a spell in your hand with suspend without paying its casting cost.
    Morph - 1UU
Wizards of this school can cast any spell that has ever been cast or will be cast.
    1/1

IIW: Tribal, but not in the traditional sense, like warlords.

Does this make it so you don't have to suspend it? So like turn face up, greater gargadon from hand? Is that not broken? I don't know, maybe if it only hit stuff already suspended, there are a lot of strong suspend cards that might be kind of bonkers with this. Combo decks are fine, but it would have a lot of options to cast for free.

    Quote from SelesnyaNewLife
    Ticking
    Artifact (Rare)

Suspend 8—1 (Rather than cast this card from your hand, pay 1 and exile it with eight time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, cast it without paying its mana cost.)

When Ticking enters the battlefield, sacrifice it. Ticking deals 10 damage to each creature and player.

Cascade into a free boardwipe? and half of their life gone... I don't know if this could see print. eight turns is okay for that i suppose, but three mana have it now? something would break it.

    Quote from Cythare
    Tended Harvest
    Sorcery (R)
As long as Tended Harvest is suspended, you can't play lands.
    Suspend 2 - G
Search your library for a land card and put it onto the battlefield. Then shuffle your library. Exile Tended Harvest with two time counters on it.
Whenever an opponent plays a land, if Tended Harvest is suspended, remove a time counter from Tended Harvest.

    IIW: Thallids

Good card with a huge downside. Once you start it, you can't play lands at all. One free land of any kind, for every land your opponent plays... I don't know if its really good, or absolutely broken.

    Quote from Chemtrails
    Primordial March 6GG
    Sorcery (R)
Untap all lands you control. Until end of turn, lands you control become 2/2 creatures that are still lands. They gain haste until end of turn.
    Suspend 6—GG
Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, if Primordial March is suspended, remove a time counter from it.

IIW: Flavourful counters (, , etc.)

Couldn't the lands be a bit larger for eight mana? Maybe not, might be too stronk, but I mean you are green, so you'd probably have like 2 or so mana dorks at least, and 6 2/2's aren't the most threatening thing in the world, though the card is free if you have eight lands, so that gives you overrun mana, so maybe its good. I really like it.

    Quote from willows
    Star of Despair 5WB
    Creature — Angel (R)
    Suspend 10 — (W/B)
    Flying
    Your life total can't change.
Whenever you lose life, if Star of Despair is suspended, remove a time counter from it.
    5/5

IIW: Multicolored marquee creatures for Johnny

Ooh big fat angel. Well, not so big, but pretty much wins the game if you manage to play it. Could see some deck rise up abusing this and some kind of protection for it, give it shroud or whatnot. I can dig it.

Polendino: This seems scary, no doubt a powerful card draw engine, but at a huge cost. I'm not sure if it needs to be so scary, because draw one card a turn extra for X turns then die seems kind of bad. But what do I know this card is probably broken beyond belief.

    Cloaked Dagger 3

Whenever a creature you control is attacking and is not blocked, you may pay 3 life. If you do, you may put Cloaked Dagger onto the battlefield attached to it.

Microtext aside, this is strictly worse than City of Brass in my opinion. Just horrible downsides, and doesn't feel mythic. People don't like playing things that don't benefit them. Also, it doesn't work because it is all basic land types. You don't have to use the tap abilities and the downsides because it, being all land types, can already tap for those types of mana.

    Lack of Will 2BB
    Instant (U or C)
You may discard a black card and a swamp instead of playing Lack of Will's mana cost.
Name a card. Target opponent reveals their hand and discards any cards with that name.

It was underpowered as you had it, because 4 mana to discard one card, that you have to name correctly is a very weak effect.

Be sure to use ([mana]) tags on your mana costs too. Smile

Oddfiend is meant to be a combo enabler. Like a different kiln fiend is the inspiration.
I like the idea of thoughtcarving just destroying decks, by forcing searches for huge casting cost cards, and putting opponents life totals low. Its also useful for being a 2 for 1 tutor.

So I'm very good at making cards that aren't worded right, or that are broken. These may be both, and I need help fixing them.

    Switcheroo 1U
    Instant - (R)
Choose a creature you control, and reveal a creature card in your hand with converted mana cost less than or equal to the chosen creature. Put that creature onto the battlefield, and return the chosen creature to your hand.

    Thoughtcarving 2BB
    Sorcery - (R)
Search target player’s library for up to two cards. That player reveals those cards, puts them into his or her hand, and loses life equal to half their total converted mana cost, rounded down. Then that player shuffles his or her library.

    Groundblast 3R
    Sorcery - (U)
Groundblast deals 3 damage to each creature without flying.
    Draw a card.

    Wikki Headhunter 2RR
    Creature - Imp Rogue (U)
    Flying
When Wikki Headhunter enters the battlefield, it deals 2 damage to target non-Imp creature.
    2/2

    Imp Eggwarmer 1UR
    Creature - Imp Wizard (R)
    Flying
U, T: Put a 1/1 red and blue Imp creature token with flying onto the battlefield.
Imp creatures must attack each turn if able.
    1/1

    Mirrormage Wikki 1UR
    Creature - Imp Wizard (R)
When Mirrormage Wikki enters the battlefield, choose target Imp creature you control. Other Imp creatures you control become a copy of that creature. (This effect lasts indefinitely.)
    1/1

    Impwalker 2 :symur::symur::symur:
    Planeswalker - (Impdude) (MR)
/+1\ Put two 1/1 blue and red Imp creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.
\-3/ Draw a card for each Imp creature you control, then discard half the cards in your hand, rounded up.
\-4/ Creatures you control get +3/+0 and gain haste and hexproof until end of turn
    [3]

    Impwalker V3 2UUR
    Planeswalker - (Impdude) (MR)
/+1\ Put two 1/1 blue and red Imp creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.
\-3/ Draw a card for each Imp creature you control, then discard half the cards in your hand, rounded up.
\-5/ Creatures you control get +3/+0 and gain haste and hexproof until end of turn
    [5]

    Oddfiend :symur::symur:
    Creature - Imp (U)
Oddfiend can only be blocked by creatures without flying.
Whenever Oddfiend becomes the target of an ability, it gets +1/+0 until the beginning of the next end step.
    1/1

    Vain Idol 2
    Artifact - (R)
,T: Tap target untapped creature you control and put a devotion counter on it.
Creatures with devotion counters on them don’t untap during their owner’s untap steps.
Creatures you control get +1/+1 for each tapped creature with a devotion counter on it.

Thats all for now. I felt like imps could be a really cool U/R race, little flying bastards that do odd/annoying things. Meh. So comment away, and help me out a bit with templating because I know somethings off about some of these.

EDIT: Changed some wording errors, and nerfed a bit of stuff.

Just wanted to post about my findings with three cards.
Chandra, The Firebrand + Snapcaster Mage + Brimstone Volley
These cards provide insane synergy, because if you can kill a creature, then snap a brimstone, or better yet, swing into bigger blockers with a creature, then copy the brimstone with chandras effect, thats 10 to the face. Its not as hard to pull off as you would think either, because the cards by themselves are great, this is just adding another synergy. Just food for thought
