I think it should say "as an additional cost to play giga burst you may reveal any number of cards from your hand". But other than that I think it would work.
I agree with oddity. I've read the book, and if you've read the first 2 you will love it. The book's been out for a while now though. At barnes and noble/amazon.com/random bookstore.
no, 2 yoseis only skip the next upkeep because they both happen at the same time. Just because you "skip" an upkeep doesnt mean its not still there. So says teh level -3 Judge.
Tim, no matter what forum you post on you always get rules questions wrong.:grin2:
I believe you can play socercies imprinted on a scepter any time you could play an instant, as it's an ability, and you "copy" the spell, not "play it without paying it's mana cost."
The scepter says you can only imprint instants onto it. This is a sorcery.
If you can somehow get up to producing four or five mana per turn, while your oponent has only two (or even one!) lands out, and this imprinted on a scepter, it's basically a lockdown for the time being, with you holding a great advantage. If you can do that, and have a Zo-Zu out, it's game over.
Except that it's a sorcery. That said i think this may see play in block and maybe type 2. Not bad for a common.
The more I think about it, I wonder if they made it 4/4 w/o trample instead of a 3/3 w/ trample to help distinguish it from Pulse of the Tangle. Granted, the pulse doesn't create creatures with trample, but it does create 3/3 critters.
I think they made it a 4/4 without trample to distinguish it from treetop village. Otherwise they would both be pay 2 to make it a 3/3 trampler
I am proud to be one of the top fifty best limited junior players in the world.
Composite: 1772
Constructed: 1734
Limited: 1810
I just turned 14 this summer. Owned anyone?
I turned 14 in may, and my limited rating at its highest was 1958 sometime in september. A combination of doing bad at limited ptq's and kamigawa, dropped my rating to 1839.
Hero's Demise could have been an awesome uncommon, you don't want to open this as a rare in a draft though. It should be very good as a sideboard or even maindeck card in block. I think Aura barbs would look something like this:
Aura barbs 2R
Enchantment
At the beginning of each opponents upkeep deal x damage to that player where x is the number of enchantments they control.
Aura usually means something to do with enchantments and barbs sounds like damage.
