So you may have either given up on this deck or just don't check the site anymore but lets hope that neither of those have happened. I only say this because the last post was a long time ago. Anyways, have you thought about running Icefall in this deck? With the Recover mechanic and how Diao causes one of your creatures to die you have a decent Land or Artifact destruction engine. Sure it costs a lot of mana (6 per turn if you were to keep destroying your opponents stuff) but that is what EDH/Commander is for, making expensive engines viable.
Keep in mind that I haven't tried this engine out yet since I am still building the deck
Even with 5 enchantments out on the field, Serra's Sanctum would be great. A land that adds more than two or three mana without a sacrifice of said land or a pain is great. As for minimum number of enchantments, that all depends on how long they are going to stay out. If you have ways of protecting the enchantments with dudes or other enchantments, then maybe 10 to 20. A Green White Enchantment deck would benefit greatly
As for the Suggestions, thank you for them. The comment on the seven permenants in the deck, I was looking for specific things and I thought someone would ask what the numbers are. The suggestions will help me greatly in making this deck actually be somewhat consistent.
Also, adding black would make this easier, but I am sticking with the general I have in mind because I like the flavor and I have thought of a combo involving her.
I need some help for some tutors in GW. I am mainly looking for something that isn't the basic tutors (Sylvan TutorEnlightened Tutor etc.). It is for a combo deck and what I am trying to tutor for are creatures, enchantments, and artifacts (Specific numbers are 4 creatures, 1 enchantment, 2 artifacts). Since I have the spells out of the way I would like to know if there are any creatures (Like Academy Rector) that could help. Ranger of Eos won't help because the creatures are three or two drops.
::EDIT:: I am looking for cards that aren't a crap load of money. If it is in the range of Dual Land price (The happy medium price) it is too high.
I have a promo Dimir Guildmage with a line (it's just over the R from creature, first attached pic), barelly visible
Because I'll never get to the heels to the pimp stuffs you guys post, these are the humble jewels of my collection :D, it may not be the pimpiest or expensive, but where I live are a lot harder to get...
BTW sorry for the bad photos (crappy cellphone XD)
I don't know about other people, but Judge foil Bob and Xiahou Dun is pretty freaking pimp IMO
It all depends on the meta. If you have a bunch of top tier generals in the meta, then maybe having a combo deck wouldn't be so bad. Also, the deck in itself depends on how bad combo is. It depends on how many combo pieces you have compared to the ability you deck can goldfish/tutor. A three piece combo is gonna be harder to disrupt than a combo that has 5 pieces. A UB deck is gonna have an easier time getting a combo together than a WR deck.
I agree that just hitting the metaphorical "oops I win" button is pretty crappy when someone played some good politics and had a clever board position. I feel though that if you one a straight combo deck, then politics will come into play up until the button is pushed. You need to tell people that you are not the threat and slow role your threats.
Personally, I feel that combos are ok if they lead to a definite end. If someone goes infinite mana and then playing a X damage spell for multiple targets, that's great. If you are playing a combo that just involves you taking infinite turns until you kill everyone with your small creatures, shame on you.
tl;dr--How bad combos are depends on the Deck, the meta, and how quick it ends the game
Sorry for name dropping these, but these two list should give you an understanding of you could look for. These were the only two on the front page of posting this
These cards combo into one attack death from GG. You don't need to use Whispersilk cloak, but Sun Quan, Lord of Wu considering that Horsemanship is basically unblockable. You probably know what most of the staples are, so I won't list those. Grave Titan is a must though because he is just so good in aggro.
After nurse.jason pointed something out, this post is now useless.
This probably has been asked in the other pages, but what are your thoughts on Meekstone? It is another Crackdown and what not.
Another question is how often do you have enough Anthem affects on the field with Crackdown out to where you don't untap your dudes? Most of the time you probably don't play it if it hurts your dudes but have there been times where playing was the best play even though it made your dudes not untap?
Radiant, Archangel is an obvious choice for this deck. Island Sanctuary wouldn't be that bad of a choice considering that Moat is an expensive card, so it could be used as a placeholder. You would need to run some card draw but if your colors are UWG then you are in the clear for card draw. Martyrs Bond would allow you to play your angels while other people are playing dudes (It is a little on the expensive side). Akroma, Angel of Wrath is another obvious choice as is Akroma's Memorial.
With Aggravated Assault you can also go infinite mana. You have Brightflame so maybe add Banefire and Fireball. Also, Rude Awakening goes with the flavor of turning your lands in creatures, but you might be beating the dead horse with this.
I see how Shuko works, I might run it, it just seems very bad on its own and few ways to search itup.
Spirit clothes? Wouldn't that be equipment?
It doesn't have to be Shuko because it could be Lightning Greaves which is just the better 0 equip cost equipment. Tutoring for it wouldn't be that bad of a problem. Also, have you thought about using Whipgrass Entangler? Seems like a decent prevention card while you are setting up the combo for the win.
Also, the cloths are actually ribbons. Reiraku, the spirit ribbons (I had to grab volume 5 of the manga to find that out).
Coalition Victory-- Yeah it wins ya the game, but it does take a deck that is built around it. Also, disrupting it is easier and it promotes more removal (Said before, just reiterating).
Protean Hulk-- I like PH and feel that if you unban this is gives you a good reason to think about banning the other more detrimental cards that are damn good.
I used to be one of the guys that had a Binder that had both things that I didn't want to trade and things that I wanted to trade. I then buckled down so I got a better quality binder and than separated my collection into Stuff that I am willing to trade and stuff that I don't really want to but will trade if the monetary values are right (The main reason why I got another binder was because I wanted to have a decent binder for my cat collection).
On the subject of coming across the people who have mixed binders, I don't get annoyed. I view trading as more of the social aspect of Magic instead of playing games. When you are playing games people like silence because most of the time there is something on the line (Mainly packs), while with trading you can chit chat while going through each others binders and what not.
With the value of cards like Tarmo and JtMS, I like that the money value is there. Yeah it can be easier and a lot faster to go off of utility instead of having to look up the price on SCG or some other site. The reason I don't like doing that is because people try to rip you off more than not. Someone that tried to trade with me didn't want my Kaalia because he didn't want to trade for it at 7$ while he overvalues his cards. Going off of SCG or any other site, gives a metaphorical gold standard of the cards.
Please keep in mind that this is in the LGS area, while trading at bigger events such as PTQs etc. things are a little different (It seems like the silence during the game transfers to trading. Though finding the people that like to talk while trading is truly fun).
Have you thought about using Shuuko or another 0 equip cost equipment for another infinite life gain? The one you have works fine but it is just another option.
Also, to fall in line with the Bleach flavor of the grouping of the cards, you should change the tutor section to the spirit cloths that soul reapers can see (I can't remember the name of them at the moment though)
Keep in mind that I haven't tried this engine out yet since I am still building the deck

NGW's GG EDH
Sorry for name dropping these, but these two list should give you an understanding of you could look for. These were the only two on the front page of posting this
As for single cards I would suggest the following:
Gravecrawler
Rooftop Storm
Whispersilk Cloak
These cards combo into one attack death from GG. You don't need to use Whispersilk cloak, but Sun Quan, Lord of Wu considering that Horsemanship is basically unblockable. You probably know what most of the staples are, so I won't list those. Grave Titan is a must though because he is just so good in aggro.
OMG I want the Yoko Mountain! I love all the alters in the deck

Kokusho, the Evening Star-- I am not gonna beat the dead horse in the room.
