I have two more corrections, both for our fearless moderator's deck
VS. Lithel, listed 6-0, suggested 2-2
Even though wheel shuffles itself, lithel can crack the earth as often as feyd can recast wheel
Vs. Reyemille, listed 3-3, suggested 4-1.
On the play, reyemille counters wheel for the draw.
On feyd's play, he takes a couple of hits. but on turn 6 he can cast both spells to kill scavenger through the counterspell.
I have no particular preference concerning what happens to Mogg's submission, but if anything happens other than the deck being disqualified I think it's important to be clear on exactly what procedure is being applied so that a precedent can be set (or even a rule added) and the same procedure can be applied in future cases.
i agree with this. we need an actual ruling here. i dont know what that should be, but we need a specific solution. disqualification seems wrong, but we need a rule.
finish it with rushwood grove. vigilance on chancellor of the tangle does the trick if you dismember march of the machines. only on the play though. is that good enough?
At worst, we can replace Gambit with Eureka, since it serves the same basic purpose, via rule 2.2c.
There's no reason to completely gimp your deck simply because there was an odd corner case that no one has ever realized before.
a switch to eureka gains me 2 points.
on the play i cast mayor turn 2 and start making tokens before lilliana comes out. save counterspell for eureka since mayor can take care of lilliana on its own.
05 bateleur :: "Angel-Pact" Angel's Grace / Pact of the Titan / Pact of the Titan
3-3
turn 2 terminate, turn 4 mayor. turn 5 i start making a blocker a turn. on the draw i dont get there in time.
12 casual johnny :: "Horrorline" Hunted Horror / Karakas / Leyline of Singularity
2-2 i can never deal damage, but i can stop horror. easy on the play. on the draw i wait til i can terminate and counter the same turn
13 WhammWhamme :: "Super Nexus" Berserk / Inkmoth Nexus / Might of Old Krosa
6-0 by the time you have activation/might/berserk mana, i have enough to terminate
flash almost certainly deserves the ban hammer, but hexmage and dark depths are only broken together. they both have a place separately though.
is it unnecessarily complicated to just ban them being in the same deck?
Here's a puzzle in the same vein as the last few that have been posted:
Build a 5 card deck, such that if it starts with all of it's permanents in play and non-permanents in hand, it can't be beaten by any 3 card blind deck. No land rule for the 3CB deck.
"cant be beaten by" is not quite the same as beating a deck...

Also, I have corrections to my own calculations.
02 Draco9 :: "There Can Be Only One"
Karakas / Leyline of Singularity / Student of Warfare
Suggested 0-6, should be 2-2. Can't get through karakas, but turn 4 terminate, then counter student when recast.
05 bateleur :: "Angel-Pact"
Angel's Grace / Pact of the Titan / Pact of the Titan
Listed 3-3, should be 0-6. Forgot about their "haste" when I'm on the play.
a switch to eureka gains me 2 points.

01 Feyd_Ruin :: "The Power of 2"
Geth's Verdict / Lightning Helix / Wheel of Sun and Moon
1-4
02 Draco9 :: "There Can Be Only One"
Karakas / Leyline of Singularity / Student of Warfare
0-6
03 pininja :: "Demon's Prison"
Demonfire / Ghostly Prison / The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
2-2 i believe. i can counter prison, but then demonfire can take out mayor
05 bateleur :: "Angel-Pact"
Angel's Grace / Pact of the Titan / Pact of the Titan
3-3
turn 2 terminate, turn 4 mayor. turn 5 i start making a blocker a turn. on the draw i dont get there in time.
06 Reyemile :: "Scavenger"
Anurid Scavenger / Counterspell / Faerie Macabre
6-0 mayor with counterspell backup is enough.
07 Naphtali :: "Sneak Attack"
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn / Sneak Attack / Skirk Ridge Exhumer
6-0 gotta counter sneak attack, but thats enough.
08 VikingMetal4L :: "Pox"
Chain of Vapor / Elixir of Immortality / Pox
6-0
09 benbuzz790 :: "Angel-Pact"
Angel's Grace / Pact of the Titan / Pact of the Titan
0-6
10 Lithel :: "Inficrack"
Augur of Skulls / Crack the Earth / Serene Remembrance
6-0 terminate for augur, counterspell for crack. i make one token before crack gets redrawn no matter what.
11 Parsley :: "Strom Control"
Chancellor of the Annex / Counterspell / Stromkirk Noble
6-0 terminate for noble. counter backup for mayor.
12 casual johnny :: "Horrorline"
Hunted Horror / Karakas / Leyline of Singularity
2-2 i can never deal damage, but i can stop horror. easy on the play. on the draw i wait til i can terminate and counter the same turn
13 WhammWhamme :: "Super Nexus"
Berserk / Inkmoth Nexus / Might of Old Krosa
6-0 by the time you have activation/might/berserk mana, i have enough to terminate
14 Antonia :: "Goblins Evolved"
Artificial Evolution / Goblin Lackey / Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
3-3 too fast on the draw, but on the play terminate is online in time.
15 Mogg :: "A Gambit"
Liliana of the Veil / Stronghold Gambit / Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
0-6
16 Grolleter :: "Stiflenought"
Phyrexian Dreadnought / Robe of Mirrors / Stifle
6-0
17 fnord :: "Krenko"
Apostle's Blessing / Goblin Lackey / Krenko, Mob Boss
3-3
is it unnecessarily complicated to just ban them being in the same deck?
When you set this Wham! song in motion, destroy up to one target artifact, up to one target enchantment, and up to one target nonbasic land.
I have nephews. Chuggington is actually pretty good.
totally missed time stop exiling itself though. oh well.
"cant be beaten by" is not quite the same as beating a deck...
gilded lotus / gilded lotus / time stop / rule of law / wheel of sun and moon
alternately, if that can be beaten by a 3 card deck, id love to see that 3 card deck. how about 4? 5?
...that doesn't exactly roll off the tongue...
