I just keep seeing scum lists looking very similar and I'm not a fan.
    good catch
Better start lynching towny people instead of scummy ones

I also strongly disliked Kami's stance on my slot's play day 1, but I don't think I can get anything useful out of pushing them for that today, since the original theory has been debunked.
    <snip>
Is Vaimes as bouncy/sheepy with his votes as town as he has been in this game?
Is there a strong case for a town!Kami out there?
why is pushing kami not useful today?
There is no town case out there

What do you mean by bouncy?

Okay, well, I think this has run its course so I should probably claim it and say what I got out of it.

I proposed replacing into a game but not reading it to Bur and Shadow. Meanwhile I thought about how that could actually be a gambit as a way to make oneself into LHF bait for people of the opposite alignment to grab at. I didn't think much about the scum world (I legitimately didn't believe I was going to be replaced in), but in the town world, it provides a lot of read potential from reactions. So when I suddenly found myself replaced in, I figured "Why not?" and got right to it.
    <snip>
Tomsloger - Out of the people actively pushing me, I've come to the conclusion that Tom is a little less likely to be scum than a bunch of the others. His indignation at my responses to him and his maintaining of his vote felt potentially genuine. I wouldn't completely remove him from the POE, though. In particular, I don't like the focus on his idea that I had a persecution complex or was playing the victim. That felt really shaky. And if he is scum!Tom who realized that I was running a gambit, then his approach looks particularly disingenuous as a way of dismantling it while trying to appear like he's just keeping an aloof, arrogant higher ground. I'm a little bit below null here. Probably a scumlean overall. But I don't think Tom is the correct lynch for today, and if he does decide to focus on the game outside of pushing this slot due to his claimed read on GJ, then maybe we can get somewhere. Tom, one way or another, I do feel like I kinda took some cheap shots at you to try to get you emotional, so I do apologize for that in general, and particularly if you are in fact town.
So your gambit was you were scummy on purpose, in order to become lhf and attract suspicion
Literally giving yourself a persecution complex

And im scummy for... finding you scummy, noting your *intentional and now admittedly strategic persecution complex* and focusing on it too much... and... realizing that was a gambit from town osi and keeping the higher ground?

    ...

    Im sorry what

@Tom What bumped KJ and me back up in your eyes tom? iirc we'd been slipping down your reads for a while.

Checking that last two times you colored we were in our own tier below DV and Rod.

Similarly what improved KA and Tubba in your eyes?
    meh?

Kjs not filling me with confidence but ive mostly liked you today. Mostly just feeling the mechanics a little less

Kami and tubba didnt really improve so much as vaimes dipping
    Then the tiers looking off.
But as implied, middle tiers are real muddy and gray rn

You'd consistently had Highroller above KA and Tubba. I was much more interested in the HR fall than the vaimes one which I could track easily. Especially with you seeming to agree with Chris' Tau read/excitement. I can get behind the middle being a mess, I just didn't think you had HR as part of it.

*furrows eyebrows and wishes I'd colored your 'm' orange*
its not a fall though? Hr is the same place, tubba/kami joined him because i have enough people im negative on

Dont really understand your eyebrow furrowing though its more clerical than anything else. Would prolly say kami is actually uo with highroller and tubba is lower than the two but i still didnt want to put him the next one down?

Still standing by it. Though the only important move to me was vaimes down

Meh... It probably doesn't matter but like I'm pretty sure that's a contradiction. Like HR had always been higher in your reads than KA and Tubba and if he didn't fall and they didn't rise having them together doesn't add up. But again, pretty sure Osie is just scum and it doesn't matter.
    no contradiction at all!

    Be me
    Move vaimes down
    Move vezok down
Decide its cleaner and feels righter to combine chris/rod with grapejoy
Do the same for highroller and the two below
Briefly consider moving tubba down or giving him his own tier
Decide to just not color the middle because its muddy

All of this with far less thought than you've given my choice lol

But i guess i gave it some more too
    So how bout

    chris/rod/grapejoy
    Highroller/kami

    tubba
    Vaimes/re
    vez/lngrr
    Anak/osi

Basically in no worlds does a scum tom sic a town chris on a scumbuddy if he wants that scumbuddy to be anything but fine paste.
scum Tom would totally do this. I think Tom can solo a have if he needs to. Do you think he can't?
its not a matter of could
Ive had plenty of buddies let me down and i have to carry.

But i usually wouldnt because i play to my win condition.
Attempting to get Chris of your trail by throwing one if the scummier members of your team to him would be playing to your win con though.

It's a bit risky but not out of the realm of possibility id say.
like, sure that individual action. Any individual action should be possible from me

But ive been doing it all game.
And frankly if it was a planned bus/distancing thing he prolly wouldnt just vaguely townread me while saying im wrong. Much more profit in pushing back

Believe what you want i guess. If he does, in fact, flip scum... come at me bro

Real talk grape i dont think youre showing enough recency bias

Theres... some number of worlds where scum didnt really have to do *anything* until chris replaced in...

Even scumETR worlds they would have mostly pretty easy stuff to react to.

So yeah i think youve got too much d1 going into your vaimes and kami reads basically. Maybe me too tbh but whatever

    Think im at like

    chris/rod/Grapejoy
    Highroller/tubba/kami
    Vaimes/re
    vez/lngrr
    Anak/osi

With leaving the middle tiers uncolored being extremely poignant symbolism

Might be able to do another on vaimes going the wrong way on grape rn

    @grape
I probably drop out of character some amount. But ill never admit when or how

Not really this game. Some of my frustration has been real i guess, but thats more folded in to persona than taking myself out of it (and some amount of that frustration wasnt game related anyway)

Chris i dont care how big our dicks are. I think osi is scum. And i have absolutely explained it better than youve explained hes town. Not gonna say its a slam dunk or anything, but this thread really doesnt need more of me in it right now. Dont care anymore, fine with lynching anak first
