A brand new batch of Slivers would get me to come out to FNM and/or MH drafts (something which I don’t do anymore), not to mention supporting the secondary market in buying foil singles for the brand new hive deck I’ll build, if they are in MH.
We’re about a week away from War of the Spark previews starting, and my mind is 100% on Modern Horizons instead. War basically has to give me things I never knew I wanted or hit my very narrow sweet spot.
Quasi-functionally new renamed Slivers are by far what’s more likely to happen. The affects-all-Slivers-in-play-template have a storm scale of 10 according to MaRo.
I’ve investigated why we haven’t seen prowess in Ixalan, Battlebond, Dominaria, or M19 and I found Mark Rosewater going on record saying these two things:
“Prowess has more issues than the average evergreen mechanic, so yes, it’s created a few extra challenges.”
“Prowess is in danger of losing its evergreen status.”
I’m not surprised in the least as prowess makes little sense for me in a game’s world priding itself on its high fantasy sensibilities, since, well, it was announced prowess was going evergreen.
I already acknowledged that the cards were technically purchased, so that's not physical property theft. But just because you accidentally got new flavors doesn't mean you leak them to the world before the company's ready. That's information theft, same as if you accidentally saw some confidential company trade information and leaked it onto the internet. It's the company's intellectual property, they alone have the right to decide when new product information is revealed.
Well, I think virtually everyone else but you would have felt comfortable about sharing this leak, especially how these cards weren’t stolen in any kind of way.

Huh. That’s interesting.
