if my opponent plays show and tell, and puts a woodfall primus onto the battlefield, and i put a humility into play, will woodfall primus's ability trigger and destroy a noncreature permanent?
its ability says "When Emrakul is put into a graveyard from anywhere, its owner shuffles his or her graveyard into his or her library."
it is a triggered ability, it will trigger and be put on the stack, if you counter it a la trickbind, it will not trigger again, if you mill two, you will need two trickbinds. if you attempt to faerie macabre it, it will be rfged, and the rest of the graveyard will be shuffled in.
progenitus
progenitus's ability says "If Progenitus would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, reveal Progenitus and shuffle it into its owner's library instead."
it is a replacement effect. you will not be able to trickbind it and it does not use the stack.
the elemental incarnations have "When Guile is put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it into its owner's library." which is exactly the same as the eldrazi. so trickbind will stop it, faerie macabre will also be able to rfg it, and unlike the eldrazi, guile and co will only shuffle themselves, so macabre will answer this fine.
i control a teferi, mage of zhalfir, and it is my opponents turn, i cast a cryptic command to counter a spell, my opponent attempts to respond with spellstutter sprite to counter my cryptic, is he allowed to cast spellsutter (or any other spell) for that matter, when the stack is not empty?
if my opponent has 3 artifat lands in play (vault of whispers, seat of the synod, and ancient den). and i play powder keg, and immediately sacrifice it (so there are zero fuse counters on it), will the artifact lands be destroyed?
if my opponent plays chain of vapor, targeting a mox emerald, then sacrifices a land to copy it targeting another mox. and then plays tendrils of agony. having played no other spells that turn, what is the storm count? 2 or 3 (counting just the chain and copy and tendrils)
im interested, just double checking though. we are using mws correct? and someone mentioned something earlier about being able to save game logs with the click of a button. the only way i know of saving them is to scroll all the way through the log and copy everything, which usually takes about 5 minutes. so im guessing there is an easier way. what is it exactly?
as for M11. i feel like we shouldn't use it, the entire thing hasn't been spoiled yet, and we will only have like 2 or 3 days to test with m11 before the decklists need to be sent in.
Here is someone's thoughts on Warren Instigator. They are a long time player with Goblins and several other decks, and a huge contributor to the Goblins thread over at the source.
"It still amazes me how many garbage lists appear on this thread running subpar goblins with subpar reasoning behind them, that run 0-2 Warren Instigators on grounds that "I don't like them" or "They don't suit my playstyle." This is nothing more than an unwarranted resistance to change.
Warren Instigator is ungodly amazing. For two red, you get a guy who strikes fear into the hearts of the masses. If he gets removed, he gets removed. Big deal. If he hits, he breaks games open. If he doesn't hit, you force the opponent to play defensive against a deck with a fantastic long game.
im not going to lie, because somebody on the source said something about instigator being good makes it so, especially because all he is doing is strawmanning and not actually defending his choice. and your defense of the card is that it strikes fear into the hearts of the masses, not really sure how to respond to that...
here is the biggest problem with instigator. he takes up spots. the deck does not have room.
next, he doesn't do enough, the reason lackey is so much better is because on the play, if your opponent does not have a swords, blocker or fow in hand, he is connecting. they can't brainstorm or top to find a card. he is connecting. compare this to instigator. your opponent now has brainstorms and tops active to dig so much farther, your daze is now active, and so is tarmogoyf.
next, his ability is not that strong, on turn 2 having a siege gang is sick, pretty much after that lackey isn't amazing.
next, i fail to see why everybody and their mother thinks that goblins goes all in every day. its a midrange deck, play it like it is meant to be played, play a vial, waste some lands, force your opponent to make bad plays, matron for CA. the list gets longer and longer as to why you shouldn't overextend. a double striking lackey helps overextend, and not much else. it is still dieing to almost every creature.
next, he costs 2 mana, obviously my previous point addresses that, but turn 2 is when you cast piledriver or vial a piledriver in on two counters.
next, double lackeying isn't even that powerful. considering the guys you cheat into play are not attacking that turn, you are simply throwing creatures onto the board, thats what vial and lands are for, only they don't cost you a guy that can get blocked.
sorry if that sounded a little aggressive, but instigator does nothing for the deck other than make it easier to overextend.
first and foremost, kiki-jiki is the stoneblade. you may want to reread that whole "sack at end of turn" thing on the back before you judge again. that means beginning of end step, not cleanup. aka, make a guy during your opponent's end step and he is there for your turn. the value you get from running him is outrageous.
for a casual monored goblins list i would suggest something like this
if i control a kiki-jiki, mirror breaker, and a goblin lackey. and my opponent announces they are going to end their turn. and during the end step (when i recieve priority), i activate kiki-jiki's ability targeting the lackey. will i control a copy of the lackey on my next turn?
RGW allies is a really fast deck that can outrace a lot of decks in the format, its a fine deck to play if you are on a budget, as the most expensive cards in is bloodbraid elf and the m10 dual lands. if you want to play standard and not want to spend a whole bunch of money and want to do well

currently (before m11). standard is
shards of alara, conflux, alara reborn,
zendikar, worldwake, rise of the eldrazi
m10.
eventide cycled out of standard when zendikar came out (last september)
