THIS IS WHY I LOVE EDH SO MUCH. You, sir, have my undying respect for being awesome.

On topic, I love Seedtime for being hilariously situational.

    I aim to please!
And I actually managed to pull it off today!
We had a five-player game going, but the remaining three were Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, and my own Darien, King of Kjeldor. Ezuri has an obscene amount of mana and pours it all into a Genesis Wave, so I simply tap my last remaining Plains and say, "Mana Tithe?"
Ezuri's face hit the table so hard, and Teferi couldn't breathe for several minutes.
After that, my friends all make sure they leave one extra mana open for their big game-winning spells.
So in the next game, Ezuri goes for Genesis Wave again, even though Teferi has two blue mana open. He makes sure that he has one land untapped, so Mana Tithe won't save us this time.
Teferi asks me, "Hey, do you have Mana Tithe in hand?"
    Me: "Uh, maaaaybe?"
    Teferi: "Play it, play it!"
    Me: "Wha- why?"
    Teferi: "Just trust me, dude!"
    Me: "Okay, Mana Tithe."
    Teferi: "TWINCAST!"
    Me: "On... Genesis Wave?"
    Teferi: "No no, Mana Tithe!"
Me: "Why...?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!"
Teferi: "Because this is a lot funnier! If I copied Genesis Wave, that would be boring."
    Ezuri: "...I hate you all."

    I love my playgroup.

Moonlace would have no effect whatsoever on anything you just mentioned. Whim of Volrath (and co.), however, would - if they were cast targeting the spell or equipment you used to give Kaalia protection.

I think he was talking about his opponent Moonlacing one of his own creatures so it could block and kill Kaalia.

What happened if Endless trigger start when i dont have any zombies in play? It produce 0 or 1 new token?

Well, half of zero is zero.
So, you wouldn't get any tokens.

No the standard for land destruction is 4 mana now as u can tell from the recent core sets which have had 4 mana land destruction. Also I'm assuming that 1 mana 13 damaged that was mentioned will have some silly condition on it

Yup, this is true. From recent sets, we have Poison the Well, Drain the Well, Demolish, Tectonic Rift, and Melt Terrain, among others.
And we can't forget that the 13-damage spell that Mark Rosewater mentioned is supposed to hit multiple targets.

both cards are broken in limited ....

Aren't seven- and eight-mana spells supposed to close out games? Especially mythic ones? If you open one of these, draw it in a game, get enough mana to play it, and manage to make it stick while not dying, then you deserve to win that game.

The word "broken" just kinda rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's because I've heard people in my casual playgroup use it to describe so many cards, including terrible ones like Telepathy.

I loved Army of the Damned, until I saw the word "tapped".

But then I realized that 26 points of untapped power for eight mana would be stupid, and I loved it again.

It's big, bomby, and beautiful. Just what I love to see in a preview card.

    I told you dog

    Fixed that for ya.

    Also, IT KEEPS HAPPENING

Nope. Igor Kieryluk did the art for Cloistered Youth, but this art was done by Howard Lyon.

Hey, is this set going to have no raymond swanlands in it at all? If so, I might buy a box.

Careful, the Buy-a-Box promo was done by Raymond Swanland!

    Tiago's Land
    Legendary Land
T: Add 1 to your mana pool.
2UU, Discard this from hand: Counter target spell. This ability may be countered by spells or abilities.

Why is this line here? It doesn't do anything.

    (inb4 "No, it does nothing.")

I'm going to join the overwhelming majority of people who love Snapcaster Mage. He can be a surprise blocker or a beatstick, he has tribal synergies with Wizards, he's easily playable in Standard, Modern, Legacy, EDH, casual... everything. I want to get my hands on a few of those.

    Quote from Galspanic
Once again Volkan Baga takes a potentially dynamic and energetic scene and makes it all look like a photo of marble statues. Goddamn it so hard.

I'm assuming that the guy specializes in still portraits, based on his previous pieces. It would also explain why he's been chosen to do the art for more than one Invitational card, along with most of the Moxen. (Moxes?)
Anyway, I can let the guy off the hook.

    Quote from Wydogg5305
Again, please read where I said giving him deathtouch wouldn't change anything.

Go play 100 legacy games with dark confidant and let me know how many games you win because he drew you 5 extra cards and then tell me how many games you won because he's a 2/1. It's not even close. You can be as hyperbolic as you want.

I think giving your Bobs the ability to trade with Tarmogoyfs would make a pretty significant difference.

    Mana Tithe.

I run it in mono-white in the hopes that one day, I'll be able to troll the hell out of someone who taps out for a huge game-winning spell.

Once I accomplish this, I will immediately remove it from my deck and replace it with something that's actually useful.

I doubt it, seeing as the cursed version of Garruk is Green AND Black

A double-faced card's color identity is based on both sides, huh... That's what I was unsure of.

Garruk looks immensely fun to play. Can he be run in a mono-green EDH deck?

    Quote from Delin
How do people not see that his first 0 ability allows him to transform? In addition, his -2 ability is aided by his +1 ability. This is a very powerful yet balanced plainswalker.

Uh, they do see it...? Just because they haven't mentioned it doesn't mean it was overlooked.

I don't see any -2 ability on him, nor do I see how he's a plainswalker.

    Quote from RickCorgan
All of the problems are still there (weird pose, plastic skin, etc), and the flurry of unnecessary detail certainly makes it worse in my eyes.

It's weird for her to saunter down a flight of stairs while conjuring a spell with the Veil? I can sort of see what you're talking about.
I don't really mind the digital look of the piece. I actually kind of dig it.
It would appear that there are different aspects that people focus on when looking at this art. The people who like it (such as myself) are impressed by the level of detail put into it, the vividness of the colors, the cleanliness of the lines, etc., and the people who don't like it see it as a staged, overexaggerated depiction of a character wearing an overly detailed, impractical outfit with little emphasis on the Veil (which is kinda true).

As far as art goes, it's pretty damn good. When serving as the portrayal of Liliana on a playing card, however, it could be better. It has all of the basic requisites to be a character portrait, but a little more emphasis on the Veil would have been nice.
But who knows, maybe the art description that Mr. Argyle received instructed him to put the Veil in her hand rather than on her face? It would make sense, since the card art is meant to focus on the person first, accessories second. It would also let the viewer know that the accompanying rules text on the card is supposed to be Liliana with the Veil, rather than Liliana using the Veil.

So it basically comes down to choosing between giving him a suite of removal or a Consecrated Sphinx?
    Yeah, that sounds pretty tough.

Unfortunately, all of the Fact or Fiction splits I've witnessed have been fairly uninteresting (a couple lands and some removal, mostly).

    Quote from Wolfwood
I think this combo competes DIRECTLY with Hive Mind, so what makes this better?

I agree. Hive Mind's Pacts are free anyway, and can also be used to protect the combo or stay alive (Pact of Negation your counterspell, flash a blocker in with Pact of the Titan, kill your creature with Slaughter Pact, use Intervention Pact to survive an extra turn).
With this deck, no such luck. Without Rooftop Storm online, you just have a bunch of dead cards in hand.

...Now with that said, I really want this to work. Let's make it happen!
