Also, everyone do me a favor: Sometime before Day 2, please PM me a ballpark as to what your availability time-wise is going to be around Wednesday/Thursday of next week. I want to try to find a time that's most likely going to have everyone online.

2. Day is now set to end midnight, Tuesday, July 6, EST. To clarify, this is one hour after 11 PM, Monday, July 5 EST. So, day will be extended 73 hours.
1. I had wanted to offer player feedback as to the length of day because I've been in games - as both alignments - in which I've felt the day was too short, as well as days when I've felt the day was interminably long, and felt in both cases that the game suffered because of it. Therefore, I wanted a channel to get the player feedback as to make the game as fun as it can be.
I had assumed that this would be treated as OOC information. Apparently I was wrong. Apparently this has the potential for abuse. Live and learn.
So, in light of recent events, I'm going to ask that going forward, players PM me instead of posting things in the thread on this subject.
2. General reminder, don't bring OOC information into the game and try to use it in game. It's bad form, and it just makes the game less fun for no real gain.
3. If you believe that something I do may lend itself to a problem in game, I'm ok with you PMing me about it, or discussing it in the thread. Either is fine. However, do not say that a decision I've made has the potential to be a problem, and then immediately proceed to create the very problem you are saying might potentially arise.
I'm against the extension, don't see it serving a major purpose and I have plans this weekend.
DV is openly scumclaiming because the host didn't let him do it in scumchat.
Don't do this, basically.
I'm currently looking into the best solution for this matter. Thank you for your patience. I will make an announcement with regards to this, and what we're going to do with regards to day deadline, shortly.

Given that it's Fourth of July weekend, in addition to people having various scheduling issues, I was thinking about extending day 72 hours to 11 PM, Monday, EST.
To express your opinions on this matter, remember to bold text. Also, to make it easier for me, probably best to quote this post as well.
I would like to know what you all think, whether the answer be agreement, disagreement, agreement to day extension but disagreement as to the length, or just general ambivalence.
If there is a desire for a deadline extension, you have 17 minutes to petition for it.
