Target opponent searches your library for two cards with different card types and reveals them. You may put those cards into your hand, or search your library for a creature card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library.
But yeah, I think people are underestimating just how good the mechanic is. Boon Satyr is fantastic. The white Archon is glorious. And having to boardwipe and then use a removal spell is a very good thing for a creature deck to have.
I just think people aren't used to the idea of actually investing in their board presence. That's what this entire set is about.

People are forgetting that there will be markedly little in the way of trample enablers in Standard at this rate, so having something that gives all your stuff trample for only 4 mana is invaluable.
I am giggling at how angry everyone is that they didn't get the kind of lands they want. So much rage that we didn't get fetches, or Nimbus Maze's, or pain lands.
Imagining prices will plummet early on because people refuse to buy/play them, which means it will be quite cheap to collect playsets of the first 5.
I play G/U ramp, so generally I can often afford to play a shock land tapped. I am perfectly fine with these duals. I rather like them, actually.
