Hey all, only my second post still figuring this all out...
Anyways...
I have tried google seaching around but i can seem to find any guides on countering weenie decks, ive just got into the game but have been playing a lot vs friends and people at the store.
He runs 4+5 creatues often by 4th or 5th turn, with armoursmiths, vangaurds, squires, soul wardens etc ... all with pumps, first strikes, exaulted etc...
You can help me in two ways...
1) What are some general tips for beating weenie/white weenie
3) What do you think of the proposed build? (see bottom) Keeping it in mind for both weenie and casual play
(Also i dont know how to link pop-up card information, it would have saved me typing and your reading if i did so could you please tell me how!)
I run a black mono zombie, this is my main deck, that i have 99% of the time (sideboard is left out). The deck is 60 cards but i cant be bothered to check bellow for 100% accuracy
Swamp x 22
- Sorrin and Liliana. (Liliana calls various lords or sorrin, sorrin uses -10 w/ tendils of coruption for gg)
- Nightmare (sometimes) x 1
- Cemetery Reaper x4
- Lord of the Undead x 2
- Zombie Master x 2
- Grixix Slavedriver x 2
- Corpse Connoisseur x 3
- Gravedigger x 2
- Fleshbag Marauder x 4
- Gregscarpe x4
- Rotting Rats x4
27 Creatures
- Tendrils of Corruption x 1
- Diabolical Tutror x 2
- 4 Doom Blade, 4 Unmake (varries)
Weakness- Im still lacking a few cards (not in stock) and some are to slow. Lossing x2 Zombie Master, x2 Grixis, x2 Gravedigger, x2 Diabolical Tutor and potentially loose x3 Corpse Connoisseur
Imporvements - Adding x 2 Lord of Undead, x4 Unliving Psychopath (0/4, 1 swamp +1-1 and tap+1mana, destory creatures with less power), x4 Quagmire Druid (2/2, sac creatue destroy ench), Gate to Phyrexia (sac and destory artifact) x amount of Souless Ones, 2or3or4 Undead Warcheif, Dark Ritual x 4, Quest for Gravelord, Cover of Darkness, Disfigure/Infest and Duress, these be used to replace slow cards and form a sideboard.
My mono zombie deck does well against most of his other decks, even beat the new Sliver Deck (fleshbag eating the sliver overlord for starters, dijinn of wishes and sphnix ambassador amongst others) but i cannot manage the overwhelming madness of 6+ weenies buy turn nothing.
I have a black weenie deck in mind and weenie zombie but if i can use what i have now i would prefer to adapt it

Cost is not an issue!
Main weakness is against flying, slow to pump for good effect, no draw cards (besides lilliana but no defesne vs flying) and mana still high vrs weenie. Though cards such as pyscho will deveste a white wennie but I still cannot get past the mana cost
I would love to see my much loved zombies persevere...but im thinking vampires are looking appealing right now....Thank you
Hey all, just need some help finding out how to make a thread about deck builds. But more importanlly how to make the box with the cards im using for my zombie deck.
1) How can i make a neat box with all the contained info/How can i divide it into lands, creatures, spells etc...
2) How do i (hyper)link the cards so the box pops up with all the info about those cards
