Maybe Rishadan port, I know it's not a effective in multiplayer, but you could force one player's mana to tap so they can't pay, and just the treat on the field should give you a little more presence.
It was pointed out that DR isn't just to reanimate some big target, but it's also a big sac outlet that can't be countered (ok the spell can be counter but not the sac effect), if you don't like DR targets just use it on grabbing a troll or even just grabbing a narco or something, I've used it to sac some stuff grab a putrid imp just so I got a bunch of zombies.
Maybe, but I'd be scared I'd hit my reanimate with it. But it might have a place as well as reclaim. Reclaim in your opening hand could allow you to dredge more aggressively since you can grab back your spells that you need with it.
Wow I like that build by XBM, only thing I might change would be to swap the life staffs out for bonesplitter since I see the extra +1/0 would help more since this is going balls to the wall aggro.
I don't like the idea of hoping you are holding an exhume, I much prefer peasant pauper with Reanimate. but another good pauper target is twisted abomination as he puts himself into the GY. Keep the shred memory in there so you can get your exhumes more often.
If you want more combo-y goodness, you can run Ashnod's Alter(common in Chronicles), use the seer to scry into the alter, then scry into a bog initiate, the finish the off with a giant consume spirit. Or just a smal splash of red to do the same with the alter and fireball.
I know I've seen a R/G Pyrohemia deck, personally though if I was going Peasant, I would still stick with Pestilence and then have cards like Demonic Tutor fill up some of the uncommon slots... But that is a highly expensive card lol.
yeah then maybe a 1 of lightning helix, maybe some chain lightning. finding pro red creatures is easier then pro black I feel like, but then again I've never checked.
just curious what is your guys feelings at a possible Red White Peasant build running 4 Pyrohemia, something about this deck just looks like it'd support burn nicely.
have you tried saclands from invasion? I run them in mine and I know the old mtgo pauper deck TPPS ran saclands. they won't give you a turn one win, but they make it so you can pretty much cast your deck on turn 3.
I got tired of seeing game after game of 5-6 lands. On one night of particular bad luck I lost 5 games, all of which should have been damn near auto wins, to drawing into 5+ lands and stalling out. The worst was I had a RU delver deck at 2 health all I need was to top deck ANY non-land to win, after 4 turns of top decking lands I lost. currently I run 18 lands 8 of which are fetches. I did add in grim lavamancer and searing blaze to make the fetches better.
