Well it's been a long time since I took time to actually update my cube and the list on this website. All the changed from the whole year of 2013 were put in the changes section and also before people ask why one card became another, take into consideration that more changes than that were made during the whole year but in the end I only had my current list and my old one so people could see what cards were removed from my list that dated a year back to my current list.
I will try to update pictures sometime soon, maybe even tomorrow, but no promises.
As always, I'm not trying to have a copy/pasted list as other people on this website but I always like comments and suggestions.
Rakka is already out but the original list wasn't updated. (I somehow overlooked the main list update) Bogardan will be leaving it with the m13 update. (good cards coming out in red)
I also wanted to try out Ulvenwald Tracker that will replace Imperious Perfect. Sounds good?
Hey metagame,
Sorry for the slow reply, but I've been spending less time on these forums lately because alot of cubers change directions in they're cube selections (alot of people cut their cubes to 360) and I've been working 3 jobs for some time lately and trying to save money for university fees that I will need to pay soon.
I'll take some time next week to see if I've made any changes since the last version I posted and I'll come back to you about it. Deal?
I'm sad to see that you cut the tricolor cards. We still run them and they oftenly see play. Drafting 5 color good stuff is a viable strategy here so stuff like the sphinx and the dragon get in there with ease. Also, Bolas is so cool, cast on turn 3 and win the game!
Hey all again. Been a while since my last update due mostly to me starting to play League of Legends and trying to reach a competitive plateau. I've still been cubing but less than before.
Here are some of the updates I was planning to make and I was wondering if all of you guys had some comments and suggestions about them. The updates go from the new upcomming set and the previous one. Also, some minor global changes not from the latest 2 sets.
@KraZug: Loafing Giant is a huge bomb because he can still block pretty much anything and is undercoasted for his stats and will be able to kill off any attackers. Reversal of Fortune is bad but costs alot so it just gets the cost up and isn't that usefull either. Sunken City makes bad creatures a little better. Can make a difference in the long run. Mortal Wound is pretty bad, but not really usefull. Most creatures got a ridiculously low defense stat and will die anyway so it's just an extra useless card. It's still the only one worth including out of your list.
Witch Hunter, Seeker/Fear, Reveka, Wizard Savant, Harvest Mage, Hungry Mist and Sophic Centaur all look too good for the bad cube. The rest is good enough.
Giving a fearlike effect to the high power, low defense, no evasion creatures in the cube becomes really good. Imagine a Seeker on a Hungry Mist. That gets the game finished pretty fast. Sophic Centaur looks like he could slow down the game even more than they already are... The other are just cards with better than average abilities. (Good mana fixing? Pfff not in this cube.)
Reducing the gold cards to 2 per color pair could be a good idea. There's always just 1 of the 3 cards that looks too good compaired to the other 2. So if we cut 1 card per color pair and the 5 dragons we get 15 cards to add. That's like 3 per color, unless we add lands or artifacts.
I kind of like the Sphere at 360. That way it gets all the cards played in an 8 man draft.
Always cool to see you posting on the subject, Vigilante. You had any particular cuts in head for the bad cards you suggested?
Also!!!
I added the pictures of the Sphere as promised. I got injured while boxing and coulden't do it any earlier. Sorry for the wait guys.
@MagnetMan: The Legacy isn't a blank card but it's really bad since there's only 3-4 Djinns/Efreets. It's hard to replace tho because your suggestions don't quiet work. Moonhold is a split and so can be played in red or white. Captain's Maneuver is pretty bad but can be good since most creatures got higher power and lower toughness. The Charger is too good tho, it's a wall than can swing for 5 when needed. I'll check to maybe swap in the Maneuver.
@Dhaos Dragmire: Alot of games would be draws with that! The format is so ghetto that Divine Intervention would trigger more often than not. Cool card tho.
I'll see if I can get the pictures up tomorrow or on Wednesday.
Actually, it's all black bordered and foil. (Shame on me, but it looks cool) Missing some old cards to black border but paying 20$ for a Beta Farmstead is like getting rap... Hrmmm. I'll eventually get one but I'll look for a cheap deal or even a trade.
I took some time to update the list to a 360 one. I kept the dragons in to compensate the fact that Vigilant's list was only 355 cards big. Gave this thread a bump too. I'll try to take some pictures of the new list soon. Only missing 9 cards to have it fully pimped!
The Warp was a hit and miss and oftenly only a 1 for 1 that didn't always leave you with an advantage so it was cut. Got the Baloth and the Grip back in.
I could maybe cut Omnath and Stonewood instead of Baloth and Krosan Grip. Also, I need to find a new cut for Forked Bolt since Firestorm was already cut and I forgot to remove it from the list and so cut it again which doesn't work. Also might try the new berserker 2drop instead of the goblin wardriver.
I will try to update pictures sometime soon, maybe even tomorrow, but no promises.

Thank you all in advance and happy cubing!

I was thinking about something like this:
Knight of the White Orchid ---> Silverblade Paladin
Sacred Mesa ---> Restoration Angel
Thieving Magpie ---> Fattergeist
Dismiss ---> Dungeon Geists
Capsize ---> Tamiyo, the Moon Sage
Dwarven Blastminer ---> Lightning Mauler
Keldon Champion ---> Zealous Conscripts
How does this look?
new set is out and I got some cards I wish to add but no idea what to cut. Got any suggestions about what to cut to get these in?
Restoration Angel
Silverblade Paladin
Tamiyo, the Moon Sage
Dangerous Wager
Lightning Mauler
Thanks in advance. I'll update the pictures when I'm done with the updates. Lots of stuff got pimped and changed around.
