A slight breeze blows across the plains, swaying the few trees that have grown in the area and moving the grass on the rolling hills as it goes creating a serene setting. In the center of this land is the town of Khythillian, home to the Kitsune and friends. Entering the town from the north, the path off the main road curves downward and into the main square. On your right is a wooden board with the map of the town showing the main buildings and areas of interest with the towns name written elegently on the top. Looking into the main area you see mostly Kitsune running around going about their business as usual. Some pushing wheelbarrows of crop, others sitting in small groups smoking their pipes and sharing conversation. Even a human and elf stride by caring only to their thoughts of the moment. Much comotion can be heard coming from the marketplace where the merchants go about selling their goods, and music coming from the tavern as loud drunken voices rejoice good times. Even though most stores and buildings are of wood and very creative design, most of the Kitsune have their homes built into the rolling hills and under the ground. Artisic cement blocks mark the paths where the many folk walk.

    Town Owner: Blayze
    Town Name: Khythillian
Topography: Lush grass in the surrounding area of the town, low rolling hills, soil great for farming, very clean atmosphere in the air.
Climate: Fairly warm during most of the year, has its fair share of rain during the spring and fall, but gets plenty of sun during the summer. Typical mild climate for a plain region.
Trade: Typically food products from farming and fur from trapping/hunting, the market in town still allows for imported goods for trade. Many merchants come here to bring goods from distant areas.
Town Race(s): The main race that runs the town is kitsune (fox people) who stand just a few inches higher than would a hobbit. However there is a small amount of humans and even a tiny amount of elves that reside in the town. While the humans mainly aid more for the hunting and trapping, the elves tend to researching herbal medicines and potions because of the rich soil.
Population: Roughly around 500 folk inhabit the town, mostly the kitsune and the last 10% is of the humans and elves.
Landmarks/Locations: Some points of interest in town are the Town Hall, Center Square Statue, Town Inn, and best of all the Marketplace
Neighboring Towns: The closest towns would be Llanfairpwll to the SouthWest and Jorea to the East.
Town Officials: Town Mayor: Roika Selh, Head of Security: Sebez Nyth, Head Farmer: Llinyl Zhere
Town History: Nearly 60 years ago the town of Khythillian was settled. A small roaming band of Kitsune had wandered upon this area. The small settlement was at first established as a pit stop for travelers to stop and rest. However with the realization of the rich soils and minerals, the kitsune found that the area was ideal for growing some crops. Years went on and word of the rich growing crops spread to those of herbal knowledge and some ventured to the town to look furthering their medical field. A few trappers even found the area to be decent for certain furs and feathers for trade. Slowly the small settlement started to grow steadily and to this day slowly increases its population. However still a common rest stop for travelers, Khythillian still remains a main point of interest on trade routes.
Town Allies: Still remaining neutral to most of the world, any town that is willing to trade is welcome here.
Town Enemies: The members of Khythillian do not look for enemies in this day of age, more they spend their time on keeping the trade of the city in high check.

This isn't newsworthy and isn't sensationalism. This is plain dumb. I can't believe people actually though this would be an interesting story. What's next? 80-year old feels her knee itch?

Well like Harkius said, each is entitled to their own opinion, in which you think this bit of news is stupid. Heh yeah I think this is odd to, but im looking to find the out of the ordinary news to bring up, rather than kicking the same dead horse about Middle East stuff or another one of Bush's "famous" Sneaky lines in a speech. And besides, how often do you hear about someone getting fired by a text message? Teach
