Keeping in mind the sixth (is it sixth?) age of Magic themes its blocks after concepts rather than mechanics, I'm guessing RTR will have a heavy multicolor component but it won't be the sole one. Kinda like Scars and artifacts - maybe we'll see a named mechanic that cares about having gold/hybrid cards in play.
So the rare lands are an incomplete cycle? Interesting. Other than that, not very much caught my eye in terms of Constructed power but there are a lot of goodies for Limited.
I don't like how it looks, but I guess it'll have to do. Venser and Koth will probably get emblems in their decks, but I wonder what they'll do for Elspeth
Those guys who said that Sorin 2.0 would become a BW planeswalker are right on the mark. Didn't post an official prediction but I'm right in there with those guys. As of now, Sorin is like the epitome of how a black planeswalker could become good (although he only created Avacyn partly to sustain his vampire brethren's existence).
Now who wants to make a bet that the restored Avacyn would become Innistrad's potential destroyer, making Sorin lament his actions and turning this into another tragic block (ala Zendikar and Scars)?
I'm a little miffed that he's BW solely because Rumor Mill posters will feel justified in making completely bizarre color predictions for planeswalers based on color composition in artwork.
Its still unconfirmed with a fair chance of being a good fake. The front side is not necessarily legendary- they made sure to say he was mythic, but not that he was legendary. They likely skipped legendary werewolves entirely due to the rules headache.
They skipped the legendary werwolf due to space considerations with Innistrad. Which makes me wonder how late in Innistrad's design/development this guy got pushed back, cause the undying keyword gives me pause.
One of the things I felt strongly was that the website wasn't supposed to merely be passive. We wanted to allow our players to be active in what was going on. This led to things like You Make the Card and Selecting Nth Edition. My idea was to come up with a tool that allowed players to figure out things about the new website for themselves. We weren't sure what you all were going to do with the Orb but we knew we had to start off our first preview (for Torment) strong.
I am often asked why every set doesn't have an Orb of Insight. The answer is that we felt it was more exciting if it was something that only sometimes happened. Also, certain sets work better with the Orb than others, so sometimes we skip the Orb because we don't want you figuring out certain things ahead of time.
Quick mock up of the card makes it not completely unreasonable...
While I don't think it's Guilty Conscience, the flavor text for such a card would be amazing... think of an Avacynian priest abandoning his friend to werewolves and fleeing instead fighting... just having that weigh on your mind and slowly seeing things and going insane because of it.
MaRo claims or at least heavily hints that the rest of the cycle is going to be in AVR.

From last week's MaRo article:

He wasn't involved in M11 or M12, either.
Anyways, the only change the current card face actually needs is to shrink the type line. They're pretty good as is.
