The memory does not benefit you performance wise, only when you're trying to compute a lot of stuff. The GPU in the GTX570 will make the card faster overall for gaming.

I have no idea how to decribe the game I just got out of. I was in a game against a Viktor who had 84 AP level 2 with boots and pots and could take 3/4s my HP with his lasor and his damage shield. I have never seen anyone be able to do that, and I've freaking played Viktor before and never got close to that. Only thing I could think of is he stacked the hell out of AP runes or something. Felt completely useless that game >.<

Unless he is cheating, that's not possible. The maximum Viktor can get by level 2 (WITH an Amplifying Tome) is 71. This counts for:

Full AP runes (flat AP, not per level)
    All the AP masteries
his +6 AP from his Passive (+3 per level rod)
    +20 from Amp Tome.

Man, that Unholy Grail looks amazing on Veigar, and I'm actually decent with him...

Question is, would that be his first big item pick or Deathcap? I usually run Clarity on Veigar anyways so never worry about mana, but with this item... I may not need it.

I hooked up my 120hrz monitor with the hdmi. the card refused to go to 120. I had to go back to using my DVI to get it. Other then that HDMI means nothing to me when I have heavy DVI cables.

Im also thinking for the cooler sound issues I may really look into having a very involved cooler system maybe finding a newer case designed for it. For now I think If I can find some fans that are more silent I'll be set.

The card doesn't go to 120Hz, it stays at 60Hz. The monitor simply shows 120Hz when it is turned on by doubling the refresh rate on the screen. You can't make the card go to 120Hz.

As for the cooling system, again you don't really need it, but if you do, I recommend buying a card (or coolers for the cards) a fan that has an open top and multiple fans (such as the Twin Freezr from HIS).

I did some number crunching on Hecarim with my phone at work (LoL builder app) and AP with him REALLY sucks, it's a shame two of his abilities are Magic damage. Even Hybrid kind of sucks.

I was also able to determine that the only benefit his Passive gives him is when he has Boots 5 late game and NOT in combat, or boots 1 at level 1, otherwise the AD given is very low.

However building him AD and CDR means you can use his Q once a second when stacked twice. That's faster than his auto attack and does AOE and way more damage--kind of like Urgot, but better.

EDIT: A build (playing around) with 2x Bloodthirster, 1x Brutalizer and Ionian Boots + CDR blue's and CDR offense tree talent, his Q is 2.6 seconds... Or when stacked, .6 seconds. You literally get into combat and start mashing your Q until it breaks to win. That's pretty baller.

From previous research(Granted last year on other cards) I needed multiable cards past 2 monitors. BUT My main gripe is that I want to be able to go to 3 120Hrz and the card will not support past 60 Hrz on the Mini HDMI port. So i must use a dvi connection (DVI-D to be exact)

Well joy to me the Rosewill 1000 Watt Gaming power supply just showed up on my door step XD

Video cards aren't what specify 120Hz, the TV/Monitor does that. Usually on the screen there is a setting that enables 120HZ mode, where as 1080p or other resolution settings are set on the video card.

Would you recomend a Series of fans that can run silent(or at least better then most). And a Odd ball quiestion is the Cards being connected VIA SLI. They dont need to be directly next to each other. Just connected into the board and the SLI connection? (as long as the PCI slots are the same type?

Also if I do a Liquid cooler for the CPU im thinking something like this: http://www.corsair.com/cpu-cooling-kits/hydro-series-water-cooling-cpu-cooler/hydro-series-h100-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler.html

nVidia cards get hot, there is no way around that--they're usually hotter than ATI cards because their GPU die is bigger. However, being bigger, they can usually support higher temps. Around 120 degrees Celcius is where you have problems.

Putting two of them in there, one in the top slot and one in the third slot, won't increase the temps too much to warrant cooling.

Also, the GTX 570 can't do 3-way monitors? I thought it had 3 video outputs in the back of the card and the software supported 3 monitors?

Curious... Do you have a need for 32GB of memory? Do you have a need for dual-GPU (SLI)? Because that would be a waste of cash if you didn't have need for it... And let me tell you, any game you play you can max out with a GTX 570 without issues.

Without a lot of visual editing, you wont need to use 32GB of memory, either.

I'm sad... They didn't even touch Lulu, even though she's zoning people on bottom when playing as a support... Her damage is just WAY too high for support.

ASUS Transformer Prime is my favorite. First tablet using nVidia Tegra 3 (quad-core tablet)--rated twice as fast as the IPad 2 hardware.

I always see this claim made and no one ever substantiates it; everyone just expects you to take this as fact. More and more I've been reading how "that used to be the case, but isn't any longer" and I'm inclined to believe that over "Apple has video editing software developing wizards."

Well it's what people at my work do for visual editing, then they use PC to compile. I usually just take their word over it since they actually use it.

The point is that whatever you get for an Apple computer you can get on a PC for much cheaper. You're paying hundreds or thousands of dollars more for the brand name and the "image" that Jobs has managed to shill these past however many years.

This is an argument I use a LOT since I utterly detest Apple, but it is also inaccurate in many cases--it's all based on what they need it for. Nothing beats Apple in video modification or any edits of any kind, where as PC is more for people who like doing what THEY want to do, not what the company wants you to do.

However, for the OP's intent a PC would suite him better. Something in the $500 range online ($600 locally) would be your best bet.

As a quick note as to how my friend got out of Elo Hell (he's about 2k right now), he and his buddy played a Soraka + Alistar bottom lane (I'm sure any similar comp will work) with AP soraka and support Alistar.

They would very easily win their lane by NEVER DYING and even gank attempts were in vein (but they were also very good players). Because of this, their Jungle, Support and AD Carry were all so distraught and under farmed and they easily carried the game as a duo. Half the time (from me watching or spectating) the rest of the team members just kinda... Existed and got a few kills here and there.

Sounds like your HDD was fried during the storm. I recommend putting that drive into another computer to see if you have your data on it, back it up, and then put it onto a new HDD. My only other option would to boot into Safe Mode to see if it pulls any information, but likely it won't.

Otherwise.... Loss of data is hard, it happens to most computer users. Frown
