I agree with what you said, I hadn't actually thought of Krosan Grip at all, hadn't paid attention to it at the release since I was never playing green to any significant extent.
The Stone Rains are in there because I wanted to fill out my sideboard and didnt have any other ideas.
A fun casual/FNM deck, just grabbed what looked like the most worthwhile slivers in the colors and some removal. Is there anything critical I've missed?

A general guideline for a website to be considered notable (from memory when I frequented VFD) is a significant number of non-self-referential google hits, an Alexa ranking above #RANDOMx1000, as I've seen anything from the top 100 only to the top 100,000. MTGSalvation is around 42,000, so I could see it being a borderline notable article, and judging by the number of webcomics we allow to remain, I think you'd be fine to start a new article on it, as long as it fits Wikipedia formatting guidelines.
