Vexing devil is a must in my opinion. People will have their arguments; but in my opinion, It's one of two things.... a sorcery speed 4dmg for (R) OR a 4/3 for (R). Good either way, haters gonna hate....
It's not bad at all, in fact it's amazing in other formats.
There are just simply better choices. Refer to the long post on page 2.
Needlebite is obviously for anti lifegain. The bog wraiths replace Doom blade when I go against a predominant black deck. The Magister sphinx is another anti lifegain. The Inkwell Levaithan is strictly for double headed dragon or free for all.
Anyways, I'd like some suggestions for improvement. I find trouble against white soldier decks as well as many forms of aggro. How does one counter that?

I haven't seen anyone take advantage of some of these combinations yet. It's worked out well for me so far. Playtest it and see what you think.
This deck has a lot of good field presence, and ends up surprising your opponent with crazy stuff like turn 5 glorious charge + thatcher revolt (with crusaders of odric and Champion of the parish also attacking).
Silverblade paladin on turn 3 giving double strike to Champion of the parish with 2 +1/+1 counters on it from turn 2 Gather the Townsfolk is just silly.
Not to mention late game Increasing Devotion (the flashback is crazy good) and Kessig Malcontents is great.
Sideboard:
Definitely needs some work, I went with obvious enchantment hate, O-rings, and two of the first defensive things I can think of.

My average hand usually has great mana, 2 white 1 red, just what I need. Any suggestions on dual lands for the upcoming cycle?
Explanation:
Turns 1 and 2 are pretty passive, hence the 1 drops.
turns 3 and 4 you should have tokens and at least one crusader out.
turn 5 and onwards, things pick up pretty fast.
Sideboard might need work.
My goal is to make this deck faster.

So this forum looks interesting, I think I'll give it a shot.
