Pretty disappointing overall. Hate seeing WotC force 1 particular deck. I also don't get how 3 mana is equal to 2 1/1 flyers but only 1 vanilla 2/2 and don't even get me started on the 2 vs 5 flashback cost. Standard will not be fun for the next few months.
So where is the in block hoser for tokens? Considering how ridiculous they are going to be between Sorin and Vault. Oh that's right they only want to hate on strategies they aren't trying to force.
I'm surprised nobody pointed it out but the play mat doesn't have all the stupid numbers on it like that last ones have had. That alone makes me happy. I would like my Liliana's Caress play mat a lot more if not for the dumb life counter on it.
Actually that art is from the sample decks they gave out with the Duels of the Planeswalkers promotion when it was released on Steam. Chris Moeller did new art for all 5 Lorwyn walkers for the boxes the decks came in.
Well, my shop owner heard that it was unavailable to buy through wizards right now, but didnt ask whether there was going to be another print run or not. I called Wizards Customer Service and talked to someone there, and though he didnt have a specific answer for me, he said he would be surprised if they were to OOP the set this early (only 6 months) into its run. Its true that wizards did this with m10, BUT that was because it was only on a 1-year rotation. Rather than the 2-year rotation for other sets.
Im having the shop owner call in to his wizards rep tomorrow morning to ask the specific question of whether there will be another print run of worldwake, and when that might be if there is. I dont believe wizards would be stupid enough to OOP a set this early, especially one selling so well. But I suppose we will see.
Ill ask this to you then. Did the shops you talked with specifically say that wizards said they were not going to do another print run of the set, or simply that the set was not available for purchase. There is a rather large difference between the two. If you are not 100% sure (and by 100%, I mean 100%) then please let us know. For many of us this is an important thing. I dont think wizards has ever OOP'd a set after only 6 months though (that had a 2-year run in standard), if anyone has any specific information on this that would be great.

Well if it's going to happen it's almost the time. Worldwake is officially out of print so wizards will no longer make money from him once the supply they have is gone. WW box prices are on the rise and I'm sure Jace will follow.
I'm thinking about doing an Izzet (U/R) EDH deck and I'm looking for some advice and suggestions on cards I should use. I know I want to put The Kiki-Jiki/Pestermite combo in it.
I would say $20-25. There were a ton of them at the prerelease I was at including 2 foils it seems like it has become strangely more common while still at mythic
