Shin claims that he doesn't react to votes, but most of his posts have been reactions to votes on him. Here for example, he immediately comes out to question my vote (with poor reasoning - I didn't say I don't think he's scum. I do think he's scum.)
I think that gave me a good idea for how to describe what feels off about Shinichi. I don't feel that he's trying to find scum, or persuade others to vote for his scumreads; I feel that he's trying to convince people that he's town.
Point 1 is less relevant now; it's more of an aggregate of not feeling good about Shin's posts.
Point 2 is still relevant; I do think it is a high-info flip.
@Thousand Winds: I learned a long time ago not to care about people voting me. If they have exceptionally bad reasoning I'll mention it, but there's nothing interesting for me in a couple of people finding me scummy, and it doesn't tell me much about their alignment - natural bias makes it harder to analyze a vote on yourself than on anyone else.
Hm. You aren't wrong, to a degree, it just felt like an unnatural over-correction to avoid it as much as you did.
Talk to me about the reads I listed in post #2054, outside of yourself obviously, are there any town reads or scum reads you strongly disagree with? Why?
Not exactly. I disagree with some, but I wouldn't say strongly.
I would love to find a likely wolf. I'm not going to hold back on a strong scum read, but I'm not going to make one up when I don't have one yet. That's why I'm on the fringes - I'm circling until I find something to latch onto.

KA relying on defenses before flips happen to make a judgment call is a bit of a leap of faith and also there will be problems if you try to push me at any point with that.
I will take my lock town read for coming in cold and talking yall out of LW. Vig was a little too sticky, but not an awful shot, even if I don't agree with it.
How do you know which one was the vig shot?
Wolves don't typically shoot potential mislynches.
Mm, fair.
Why do you claim you took us out of LW?
@Vaimes: Tightening of probabilities removes some options from the table. For example, a thought I had earlier was "maybe this is scum!LW with town!Shin and LW is power-defending him hoping to get town points for a good read."
What were you expecting or hoping to get from GJ other than what he said here with that line of questions?
A better alignment tell.
@Vaimes: Shin and Chris are the most interesting ones IMO. LW/Shin is complicated; after some consideration, I think the most important takeaway is that LW's defense of Shin was genuine, and LW has extensive Shin experience so I have to assign more townpoints there (though it's certainly not a clear.) Meanwhile Chris loses some townpoints.
As for where to look next - with no red flips, I don't have a lead on any solid scumworld theories yet, so largely more of the same: looking for mindset and uncharacteristic action.

Lngr is right though. I should be voting.
vote shinichi
What emotion were you expecting, and why?
Why do you bring up Rod's vote on Sir Chris but not anyone else's?
@Thousand Winds: I could comment on it but I doubt that would be useful.
I don't understand this sentence.
