In a game of 2HG, if you attack with a creature that can only be blocked by two or more creatures, can one creature from each of the defending players block it? Or does one player have to be able to block it with two creatures?
I guy at my card shop runs eye with sins and to keep the combo going after he has no cards in his graveyard he uses the one draw 3 discard 2 spell so he can discard other important cards to recure. He has green in it for heartbeat and elder so he can excel and survive the early game.
Well thanks for the answers. I was leaning on duress first but I wasn't to sure on if the odds would be better with hyme (as in getting their best spells). But all the points made seem to be valid.
On the first turn if you play Dark Ritual what is the better order to use Duress and Hymn to Tourach. Is it better to go for the best card and then clean up the rest or to try and get the best card on chance and then look for the next best?
That's a nice bit of information. I was just guessing, for how it ties together, that we would all end up playing five color decks in the end with how the colors come together.
If I have a Sekki, Seasons' Guide out with a pump like Long-Forgotten Gohei will I get a 1/1 spirit for each damage he takes even after all the counters are gone? Kind of like how Phantom Nishoba works with a pump.
In three weeks for FNM my group is having a tournament for Block, with saviors inclued, and I thought I should get my deck looked over since the first place and second place prizes are a box and half a box of saviors respectfully. The only restrictions is that all rares are restricted to make it easier on the people who can't afford the big rares in numbers. So here is my deck:
This is a great game. Including that there is no monthly fees, it's even better. If anyone wants to find me I'm after the searing and I have a level 8 E/N named Vankar Margikari (last name not too sure, made it up on the spot).
Alan controls a Frenzied Goblin and Namor controls a Shadowcloak Vampire and a Warden of the Beyond. Alan attacked with a Frenzied Goblin and activated the ability targeting the Warden of the Beyond. Namor says he blocked and then Alan played a Titanic Growth in order to kill the blocker. Namor said that his Warden then died (which couldn't block) and when this was pointed out Namor said no blocks then.
What would be the ruling for this?
I know this isn't really a rules question but where on magicthegathering.com can I find the pdf for the limited registration list for Magic 2013.
Thanks
