I don't think many more are needed. If people are running cards not listed I'm ok with including them in the voting, but let's not artificially boost the list to a certain number of cards. Top 20 seems a lot, for this category at least.
If those are true, they'd be pretty cool - especially if the wolf token spell would be instant, but sorcery would be good too. The main thing is that it costs G.
Looks like the whole cycle will go in the rate it's going. At first I didn't much like the BR one, but - manlands are just so good, and these fix as well.
He's not bad, but not good enough to make the cut for me. Fireslinger's advantage is that he hits the table turn 2, which Sparkmage can't do, even if he can ping right away. And I don't run Fireslinger in the first place.
The 3CMC red section is pretty loaded with good stuff.
A few of you guys have said you liked Chain Reaction. What is the consensus on this card? Played on turn 4 in a control deck, it does the same thing as Rolling Earthquake. It seems good, but is it good enough to replace Starstorm or regular Earthquake?
Also, the way it is worded prevents tricks like sacrificing guys after this is on the stack for more damage, right?
I don't consider it even cubable (maybe in very large cubes), let alone having it replace staples like Earthquake or Starstorm.
Against one creature, it's laughable. Against two creatures, it's a horribly overpriced Pyroclasm. Against 3 creatures it's good provided they're not too big.
I think there will be many situations in which this will just be a really bad card.
Wow, I'm starting to be hard to please. I don't really like any of the newly spoiled cards.
The angel is probably most interesting, but I think landfall is just not relevant enough on a 6 cost creature if getting rid of it undoes everything the angel did. Close, but no cigar.
The 'manland' (which it's not, by the way - unless you guys run the card in a land slot) is ok but not what I'm looking for in blue. The red wrath is not good enough for cube IMO (only good if there's 3+ creatures to zap). Zoo in a can could be good, have to think it over. Dragonmaster doesn't sound too hot to me - a 1/1 that's only relevant late-game, and has to survive a turn to do anything. He's not bad, though. Kor Firewalker doesn't beat the other WWcreatures. The vampire is pretty lame next to the other BBoptions.
EDIT: I don't think the RB manland makes the cut either, ETB tapped is annoying in RB and it's pretty mana-intensive.
I get the feeling that he needs some effort to make him good, in the form of tricks to get more cards in the graveyard or card draw. Even if you do have the cards to make him big, the next turn he'll be a lowly 1/2 again and your cards will be gone. There's also the danger of card disadvantage if your opponent has instant-speed removal.
Has he frequently been good for you? I know he can be nuts in certain circumstances, but is he consistent enough?
I don't think that's necessary. If all decks end up with enough playables at the end of the draft, why add more cards that specifically go in all decks?
Well, having enough playables surely hasn't been a problem in our cubes - sometimes it hurts to see insane cards sitting in sideboards!
So, good point - I suppose the colorless section doesn't need to be as large as the color sections.
Do you guys think it could be worthwhile to add some more artifacts, so that there are more cards in the cube any color could play? Or do you think there aren't enough artifacts to add that are good enough?
Sorry to bump this, but - anyone care to share his thoughts on this?
Hurray for Eidolon! The attention he gives to any cube and the depth of his analysis never ceases to amaze me. Thumbs up!
As for the number crunching, I couldn't get very useful information out of it.
But the re-ordering of the sections did open my eyes to certain things. For instance, I never realized how few cards our cube has that can actually go in every deck (only 66, and that's including the colorless lands). Mishra's Workshop is probably a wasted slot as there are just not enough cards to cast with it, even if our artifact section was as big as the color sections (not very surprising actually with all the mana stuff).

+ Icatian Javelineers?

Sir, yes sir!

Now THAT one I do like! Not too jaded after all.

Let's see what more they will throw at us.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
