You realize that if you exile Expansion / Explosion to it (I know its not optimal) it auto transforms right? Plus you have Teferi which will flip it. In theory, the deck can Banefire someone out on Turn 3 that is not a red deck.
You know, the Electrostatic Field is not a terrible sideboard option to help with the fast aggro decks that also nets some value over the long haul and survives Deafening Clarion.
She is just such a pure beat stick and the synergy with Lyra makes the potential for an immediate swing response when both get an attack in. That being said, if I had to cut something it would probably be her. I know there is a big interest in Boros aggro in my area and we have been play testing some t4/t5 wins out of it.
I apologize, I did not get a screenshot as I was shutting down windows, but something akin to "scanzero" started telling me my computer was infected. It didn't pull up the page, so I couldn't tell which ad instigated it. It pulled up about 3 prompts I had to shut down via task manager.
In short, I have little useful info other than something new is afoul somewhere on this site.
I can confirm this from happening. I scanned my computer to make sure no evil malware had snuck on my computer from some site prior to visiting this site and i'm clean. Looks like someone has slipped you guys a antivirus hijack script or a bad add. Could not determine which add caused it as I had to task manager shut Internet Explorer.
Sorry guys, forgot to map the columns they came from as I busted them but here is what I ultimately got(had numerous duplications for some god awful reason):
1x Guul Draz Assassin
1x Pestilence Demon
1x Spawnsire of Ulamog
1x Sphinx of Magosi
1x Bear Umbra
1x Hellion Eruption
1x Kargan Dragonlord
1x Disaster Radius
1x Keening Stone
2x Coralhelm Commander
1x Gravitational Shift
1x Thought Gorger
1x Realms Uncharted
1x Nomads' Assembly
2x Awakening Zone
1x Hedron Matrix
1x Linvala, Keeper of Silence
2x It that Betrays
1x Angelheart Vial
2x Student of Warfare
2x Lightmine Field
1x Magmaw
1x Recurring Insight
2x Rage Numbus
1x Devastating Summons
1x Splinter Twin
1x World at War
1x Gelatinous Genesis(FOIL)
2x Eldrazi Temple(1x FOIL)
1] Spreading Seas is terrible, and not played in the optimal versions of this deck.
Actually, if you look at your local meta, the above statements may not be entirely correct. At any given time, I can play an optimal version of U/W control, USA Control, Jund(any of the many flavors), Barely Boros, Spread'em and etc. I have found that when there appears to be minimal if not any other control decks or decks that run blue, spreading seas becomes a big hinderance to the opponent due to reducing the ability to color fix. Where I play, people either play random deck, Naya, Zoo, Eldrazi, Boros, Bant, Vampires or some weird ally creation. Because only a few players there actually consistantly play blue, rarely is it a dead card and in the case of against someone that actually plays blue, it hits the other important pieces of the color pie they require such as sunpetal groves or other annoying dual lands. When they are useless, they come out and something more substantial comes in. At worst they turn a manland into an island. Jace on the other hand in T2 is great against the jund matchup since it irradicates the dragon token, even though for some reason people refuse to use the -1 ability for god knows what reason.
I would toss in 4 GSS since its uncounterable and forces them to deal with it or die.
My board for this weekend looks like this:
3x Ruinblaster <--control/mirror
1x Maelstrom Pulse <--need generic removal
3x Deathmark <----if its green/white its gotta die
3x Duress <---making control players cry since '98
3x Great Sable Stag <---Mirror/Control/Black
2x Basilisk Collar <---Mirror/Bant(oh yes, it makes it hard to race for them)/WoD must DiE/Etc.
All in all, its a pretty rounded set of cards that should handle about any issues you run into.
Bad news boss, you got another rogue ad that likes to randomly pop out of its designated spot. Sadly enough its the never ending story one. Imaged attached below
Hmmm, me thinks the captain is telling us something. Did a google on Eleni Tsami and they are an artist from greece, with a link on planewalk.com(odd huh?) any who there is a piece of art that looks very suspiciously like the Vol from the art standing in the darkness on an island. This could be nothing but it could end up being something.
Best bet would be to contact the Customer Support for the Retailer Program, however I believe(and this is without contacting them, which you should do) that they are only referring to the sales of packs/boxes and ect.
