    From Diamond Previews:

    "Theros the 62nd expansion for Magic: The Gathering, is the first set in the "Theros" block, and will be released on September 27, 2013. Featuring a world filled with characters and locations steeped in Greek and Roman mythology, this large expansion (249 all-new cards!) will be followed by Born of the Gods and Journey into Nyx. Available in standard Booster Packs, Event Decks, Fat Packs, and Intro Decks."

    I see people saying they are expecting it to be greek mythology based, but here is possible proof that it will be.

Wizards also intends to expand its use from the core physical and online trading card game to encompass tournaments, online publications, movies and television, computer games, games for mobile digital devices and the other goods and services encompassed in its applications. While there may not be a commonly recognized meaning of the word "theros," it is clearly Greek in origin, and generally means "summer." It is often used as a given name (not surname) for boys. (See Exhibits 2 - 4 for web references indicating the Greek origin and meaning of "Theros" and its use as a given name.) Applicant chose THEROS as the trademark for the new MAGIC: THE GATHERING® expansion set for its association with Greece and Greek mythology. As set out in the accompanying Wikipedia article (Exhibit 5), in Greek mythology "Theros" is one of the "Horae" or goddesses representing the seasons. In addition to being the name of and trademark for the expansion set of MAGIC: THE GATHERING® cards (as well as the name of the first of the three "blocks" of cards within the set), Applicant also uses THEROS as the name of the fantasy world within which the game is set. Applicant does not, however, use THEROS as the name of any character associated with the set of cards.

    The solicitation for M2010 was in this months Previews. I got a pic of of it that can be found HERE. Closer (but more grainy) pic of just the cards can be found HERE. I don't think there is any new info in there, though the picture for BOP doesn't seem to have the normal tap symbol on it (looks like a "T") & the Serra Angel has an actual "W" in it mana cost, so the image files that were sent to Previews were probably messed up.

    I'll have to try & get the image from Previews up when I get home from work, since it shows the new artwork used for the Jace & Chandra cards in the decks. Not very well, mind you, but good enough where we can tell which of these larger images are the correct ones.

    I got the black one of these at Wizard World Chicago. They were part of the stuff you got when you registered for the convention.

    For those who don't/won't/can't read the link

    "First, I want to list our TARGETED release dates for all [MTGO] products throughout the rest of 2008. Please keep in mind these are all tentative dates, and subject to moving around some, but these are the releases and rough timeframes you can all plan on for the remainder of the year:

    June 9 SHM
    August 11 Eventide
    August 27th From the Vault: Dragons
    September 22nd Masters Edition 2
    October 20th Shards of Alara
    November 12th *something online that mirrors a paper release to be spoiled on Tuesday that my colleagues would kill me if I leaked early!*
    December 8th Tempest (!)

    The August 27th and November 12th dates are the most likely to change, but these dates are pretty close to confirmed at this point, pending QA/dev of course, and for you classic-minded folks out there, I certainly hope to be able to stick to a much more "regular" schedule for stuff like Stronghold and Exodus next year."

    Went to GenCon today & was only going to be there just for today. I took pictures of each square on the wall. I'm going to use links, cause the pictures are rather large (2832 x 2128) & I'm too lazy to shrink them down so I can attach them. They are listed in the order I took them. Not in the order they were on the wall.

    Well, how about World Artifacts? Artifacts so powerful that when activated, they change the entire world? Maybe have them CIPT & have the "doesn't work when tapped" rules text. It'll come into play, but not "activate" until the next turn.

    Someone in another thread requested this image. Since It's rather big, I'll leave the attachement link instead of image. The ad for Inquest #142 had pictures of 2 covers, one was for Horrorclix & the other was for Planar Chaos. This is the half of the ad for PC & features a dragon. And as the ad asks, "Who is this Dragon?"
