Sure. And you can freely give it right back since you don't mind doing it either ;). Or better yet, maybe the artists and Wizards should start giving me a cut of their sales for every person I've ever introduced to their product. Right?

No, I won't because I believe that you have the virtue of a philanthropist and I would not want to insult you by returning the money you just gave me Rolleyes

My point is that it is poor logic to assume that all artists are willing to freely give away their work because some of them are.

As to the actual topic proposed by the OP, most of my playgroups do not allow proxies; I do not use proxies myself for ethical reasons. However, I won't go to the extent of checking my opponent's deck just to see if any of their cards are fake or otherwise; I am not going to enforce Wizard's IP on their behalf.

Other artists freely give away their work. See Radiohead and many other bands that tour all the time after "giving away" their work.

There are people with money freely giving away their money. See Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, George Clooney, Michael Bloomberg, etc. I am sure you wouldn't mind giving me some money since there are other people who freely give away their money Wink

Battery usage increased after I updated to iOS 7.0.4. However, as mentioned, I did a quick online search and fixed it.

Could you please clarify or further explain this to me?

What was the precise issue and how did fix it?

After updating to iOS 7.0.4 (via WiFi), my battery usage increased dramatically (think a 10% drain despite being on standby after 8 hours). I fixed that by resetting my phone (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings)). There were other ways of fixing that issue though given that resetting all settings did the trick, I did not bother trying the rest. Given that you updated via iTunes though, battery drain probably wouldn't be an issue with you.

Are you saying that the sensitivity of your home button and/or touch screen deteriorated after the update? I did not experience any of those issues -- nor did I come across those issues while browsing the forums -- so I probably won't be of much help here.

Most of the cards here should be tutors, I guess, depending on how you stretch the term (the link does include extirpate, unfortunately).

You can consider going the Charbelcher route to remove all but one land for massive damage (if you're lucky).

Turn Zero Kill that doesn't require Leyline:

    Gemstone Caverns
    Dark Ritual
    Entomb
    Shallow Grave
    Slaughter Pact
    Any Card
    Any Card

Start with Caverns. Rit, Entomb Protean Hulk, Shallow Grave it, Slaughter Pact it, get your combo. Legacy legal.

It may be legacy legal but it is definitely not EDH-legal (Protean Hulk is banned in EDH).

So I don't feel like going through over a thousand pages, but I wanted to ask why a card like Biorhythm is banned when other cards like Epic Struggle and Test of Endurance are legal? They seem like they are similar in that Biorhythm could be seen as an alternate win con. Or am I totally off here with my comparison?

Note that epic struggle and test of endurance allows your opponent one full turn cycle to stop your alternate win condition. Biorhythm tend to be a lot more anti-climatic, winning you there and then -- assuming you cast it at the right time.

Apparently there are serious issues with the screen sensitivity. Can you shed any light on this, thanks?

I have not faced any issues with screen sensitivity with iOS 7.0.4 I think the only significant changes I saw between iOS 7.0.1 are: -
    1. My home button sensitivity was fixed after I updated from iOS 7.0.1
    2. Battery usage increased after I updated to iOS 7.0.4. However, as mentioned, I did a quick online search and fixed it.
I am sure that there are more differences between 7.0.1 and 7.0.4 but as a relatively casual user, I suppose the above two are all that really matters.

If you do decide to upgrade to 7.0.4, I would advice you to do so via iTunes rather than over WiFi to avoid the problems I faced above. That said, even if you are obliged to upgrade it over WiFi, it is not really much of an issue anyway.

Email seems fine to me (I am using 7.0.4 on an iPhone 4). The intense battery usage apparently happens only when updating via WiFi (instead of doing it through a USB connection and iTunes). While I did notice excessive battery usage (as I updated over WiFi), I managed to fix this by accessing Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

That said, as I used 7.0.1 for just a short while before updating my phone, I can't really tell if 7.0.4 is significantly better than 7.0.1 (or vice versa). The above is just meant to address your initial concerns.

Hope that that is a more helpful response -- lets not start a pointless iPhone v. Samsung fanboy-ing / fangirl-ing here.

The Capsize will not be countered by the game rules until it attempts to resolve. Until that time it is still on the stack and a legal target for Remand.

However, Player A does need priority to cast the Remand before Capsize resolves. The most likely scenario is that Player B concedes after Player A has passed priority. If Player C then also passes priority without doing anything, it will be too late for Player A to Remand.

Thank you for your response and your reasoning. To walk through your reasoning, the "optimal" play (lets not get too hooked up on the word "optimal" here) for Player B to ensure that Player A's Capsize to get countered by the rules of the game is to: -

    1. Ask Player A what is the target of the Capsize
    2. Ask Player A if he/she passes priority
    3. Pass priority (assuming that priority goes to Player B)
    4. Ask Player C if he/she passes priority
    5. Concede

EDIT: Is the above what you meant?

This scenario refers to a 3-player multiplayer game with three players (Player A, Player B and Player C).

Player A has obtained an arbitrarily large amount of mana and using it to tyrannically play Capsize with buyback targeting one of Player B's permanent (say, a Forest). Player B decides to heroically concede in the hopes of "fizzling" Capsize (countered due to the lack of legal target), hence saving Player C from Player A's Capsize and serving as an act of defiance against Player A.

Player A, however, has a Remand in hand with every resources available to play it. Player A intends to play Remand targeting Capsize, hence making sure that the Capsize goes back to his hand (instead of fizzling out in the graveyard). Is this possible?

My guess is that it is not as players can not exactly do anything "in response" to another player conceding but I would like to confirm my guess in this forum (preferably with the relevant rules as I am unable to find anything definitive on my own).

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm kinda wondering how the Savra player did the graveyard loops with your creatures. Wouldn't they go back to your graveyard if they died?

Actually, I was a little puzzled on this point too. I assume that this was an oversight?
