This may give control a good creature in the aftermath of Day of Judgement, but there are at least four other manlands that will offer other decks the same advantage to use against them.
OMG! That is the most insane thing ever! For 2 Reasons!
The turtles have a mutation power where they become buff and look like American super heroes, and can even FUSE into a silver buff turtle with wings and a sword! It's ridiculous!
I suggest you click the link Nof gave and watch the video instead of clicking the spoiler, it's HILARIOUS!
This deck is so awesome! I will buy this and swap out the cards in this deck with their nonfoil counterparts (basic lands included) in my Sliver Overlord EDH deck! I am 95% percent satisfied with this product!
Iv'e been waiting a really long time for a playable Phyrexian deck, I hope it doesn't disappoint. I also hope we get a lot more Phyrexian awesomeness it the new Mirrodin block.
So far there has been a lot of speculation concerning what the foils in the decks will be, but what about the nonfoil rares? On the Phyrexian side I think Phyrexian Arena and Phyrexian Scuta are good candidates. As far as the Coalition goes several people have mentioned the Weatherlight crew, and I think a volver would be a good idea. A battlemage or two would be good uncommons for the Coalition deck.
All policies described in this document apply only to non-premium, tournament-legal Magic cards. Wizards of the Coast has and may continue to print special versions of cards not meant for regular game play, such as oversized cards.
Judge foils fall under premium special versions of cards apparantly, since they have given away both Phyrexian Negator and Yawgmoth's Will as judge foils. I'm sure if they had tried to sell these as part of a product, foil or otherwise, they would would have broken their reprint policy.
Part of their policy says they can print out foil versions of cards (like judge foils) as long as they are giving them away, not selling them. I do have to agree though, that cards like Granite Gargoyle and Kobold Overlord don't belong on the list, even though it's doubtful anyone would want to see them reprinted.
Although I agree that the Phyrexian art depicts a Phyrexian Negator, the fact is that the Negator is on the Reserved List. If Wizards were to break their reserved list promise, they wouldn't do it for something like a duel deck.
If not No Mercy, then what do you think the Phyrexian foil will be? Given that the coalition foil is almost definately Coalition Victory (which means the Phyrexian foil is also probably not a creature).
This guy does have the hair AND left eye covered like Kakashi! But no mouth mask...
