I'm working on the c14 update currently (working on my thesis too so it might take some time) but it will be up by the time that the set comes out. Over all it is a fun set but I don't think that sigarda will be looking at much other than containment priest and the song
Don't forget leonin shikari. With ouresteel paladin she makes an unblocked creature game ending. Also makes single target spells useless when you have boots
I like her in the 99, but I think she's a pretty bad commander outside of monogreen stax. Green has no ways to give their creatures haste, and if you're animating your lands, you should be winning the game. If you're fine attacking with your lands and trading some for tokens, someone will have the wrath effect and will set you back significantly.
Lotus Vale and Scorched Ruins are miserable to play in a format with Strip Mine and Wasteland. Sure, you get three 5/3s, but lands are far more important that creatures in mono-green. Any effect that seeks to symmetrically be trading lands for creatures (like Zuran Orb or the aforementioned lands) will just lead to disappointment, I feel.
Even if you run Crossroads and Memorial, there's always the chance someone just blows them up in response to combat and you get stranded with no lands. It's a really awkward build when you're sacrificing your whole board development for 5/3s. I personally don't feel that "Sacrifice a land: Get a 5/3 trampler" on a 5-drop in multiplayer is that great outside of stax builds, where you can offset the symmetry of global "everyone sacrifices" effects.
Why you would run those two sac lands is beyond me. Running fetches and utility sacs is more than enough for getting rid of lands. If you re worried bout them destroying the crossroads add a dosan or a city of solitude. Adding a loam, crucible and azusa makes the deck purr like a lambo. Also you are playing mono green your ramp should be insane. Play testing with a generic green general and with a deck with dedicated ramp, I have been able to get 10 lands consistently on turn 5. The loss of one or two lands isn't a big deal
Am I missing something? The White PW is en equipment commander, and I'm assuming the deck will include that new artifact that lets you steal equipment. But I don't really see many other equipment cards in the deck. I was hoping for a batterskull at the very least, instead we just got Loxodon Warhammer? Are there other equipment cards in there that I'm missing?
As much as I would have enjoyed seeing a batterskull or a sword of x and y in the deck, you must understand that if wizards did that, the price of that deck will definitely be more than $30.
As for my favorite decklist, I enjoy the red deck the most because of its synergy.
I'm actually thinking of having nahiri as head of w stax. Martyr's bond and a skull clamp makes sure that the board is clear and if they destroy the clamp then you use -2 to get it back. Win condition wouldbe an ajani ultimate or a check to win card
If you are sticking withtheros onwards, the two best colour combination is currently GUx as they have the cards which give the most bang per card. I would splash black for removal
It happens. Currently at my school me and one other dude have the most experience in commander and in magic and as a result, we have decks which although seem convoluted can still win (patron of the moon landfalls, rahda fireballs, rakka mar elemental spam, so on so forth) whenever me and my friend a start a game of edh, we are often focused immediately even when we are playing to let off steam. The best thing I can say is just to pick up a deck which is resilient to hate and sit back and watch them bounce off. After trying to kill yo and failing, they will turn their attention to each other. With enough iterations, they will stop targetting you and you can resume playing other decks
Voltron thrives when it can goldfish. The last thing it wants to do is have someone else interact with it. By having your enemies interact with you pieces, you add a random factor. Although this factor maybe small, in the long run, it will delay your commandeer. Most voltron style decks run hate and/or ramp (often both). Take sigarda for example. Since she is green, she allows for massive amounts of ramp. Having white lends to board hate. So the way I set up my deck is to slow down the board to the point where I can cast sigarda without worry.
Technically you could say that hate is interacting with your opponents by making them inactive, but it's a long stretch
Favorite Playstyle : Aggro
How Competitive : local tournament
Favorite Cards/Colors: green, white and blue
Budget: 500-600
Staples Owned: most of mono w death and taxes (dont want to run it any more i feel it isnt really consistant)

Going black can also add an attrition element with stax. I personally use karadpr as my hatestax general running lots of tutors and then clearing the board. Cards like stony silence and null rod are definitely worth running. The only thing is that you have to be careful with what sac outlets you run as a result
Am i allowed to move cards around while they are face down on the field?
I have ashcloud phoenix which just died and comes back. I also have 2 other face down creatures on the field. Am I allowed to move them around so that my opponent doesn't know which one is the ashcloud?

If I replenish a darksteel mutation can I put it on an enemy uril, the miststalker
