    Here i my list

I just went 3-0 at a LGS event tonight

    1st round (2-1)
    Rakdos aggro
    game 1

he played a noble into jester, i pillar'd the noble, cast lingering souls. and then basically won at this point. this is how all these games played out in the early turns

    game 2

i killed a couple guys and he had triple falkenrath aristocrat

    game 3

i killed him with blind obediance and spirits

    match 2 (2-0)
    RDW

    game 1

I killed some early guys and stabalized with souls, killed with the baron

    game 2

    she got mana screwed hard

    match 3 (2-0
    jund aggro (a varloz deck)

    game 1

he played cackler so i thought rdw. burned the cackler. then he goes shred freaked. I cast lingering souls, he cast a spike jester and attacked both into my souls, you can imagine how this game and the next played out after that play.

    Thoughts:

I love the souls, looting, and rites package. it is what makes me like the deck. I would never drop souls. My meta is very aggressive and i planned for that, my list reflects getting matched up against three aggro decks a night and that is what happened. hope you guys gain some help from my list

How does it kill Sigarda when you can't force him to sacrifice anything? I also don't want to be playing it because pretty much everything I'm playing is multi-coloured.

That is true :O. my bad.

So ended up going 3-1-1 at FNM.

Game 1: GB Scavange 2-1 WIN
Was a weird deck. He ended up winning the first game because I never drew any removal, while he rode a 7/7 flying life link imp to victory and I drew lots of lands. Other 2 games went better where I got my removal while ride
ing a Blood Baron to Victory.

Game 2: RB Midrange 2-0 WIN
Didn't see much of the guys deck, he was playing removal, master of cruelties and sire of insanity, but it looked like he was getting stuck on land. He couldn't deal with the Blood Baron, so games were over as soon as he hit the board.

Game 3: UW Control 1-1 DRAW
First game I won. Second game he stalled much longer with counters and then got out a Aetherling which I couldn't deal with. Game 3 was back and forth, I think I could have won it, but was hard to say and ended up going to time and draw.

Game 4: Naya Blitz 2-1 WIN
This was a hard fought match. Game 1 I was sitting on 4 life for ages while I threw blockers out and removed some of his creatures, but then I started drawing lands again with no faithless in sight. Game 2 I got all my removal and a Blood Baron out, which I rode to victory. Game 3 he mulled to 6 and kept a bad one, with what looked like only 1 creature. I killed it and Domri pretty quick and then got a Blood Baron out and ended up winning.

Game 5: Naya Midrange 1-2 LOSS
These games were so close, but it was Sigarda that won him both games as I couldn't deal with her.

    Conclusion:
Tajic wasn't performing. I can get battalion quite easily with lingering souls, but more often than not, we're on defense until we can get the 5 drops out. While in theory he should be decent on defense, with Ghor-clan and wolf run, he's not as good as I thought he would be, so I'm probably going to drop him, I'm still working out what for. I think a 3rd Olivia. I'm still thinking about the last slot. Faithless was mostly good for me, I'm glad I put it back in, I might want a 3rd one to help out when I'm flooded, but then I want a 2nd Unburial too. Rakdos keyrune was great and I always wanted it, not sure I would go below 2 for the deck. Blood Baron is fantastic, seems no one can really deal with him. I'm pretty happy with the amount of removal I'm playing, I don't really feel like I want to change that at all.

So I've got some tweaking to do for this weeks FNM. We'll see what I can come up with.

I have been testing renounce the guilds as a 2 of in the board. it kills geist, reckoner, sigarda, and even cackler and aristocrats. Im really liking it.

I can't wait to explain to my ancestors who were accused of poisoning wells, and then suffered incredible torment and torture in the late 14th century because of Christianity and the Spanish Inquisition that it was all a big misunderstanding.

Turns out that the people torturing them, just loved them.

I have no problem with Christianity but that religion has gone above and beyond the limits for acceptable whitewash in terms of atrocities.

Im not a fan of religon, but keep in mind that people are evil, not the religon that they follow

A 4 drop 2/2 indestructible with a hard to reach in effective trigger? Why not just run Gideon?

I agree, i see some people in here playing him and i just cannot understand their justification for doing so.

To the guy who asked about Warleader's Helix, the card is solid and my advice is play with it if you haven't already.

yea, i am going to. im just now trying to trade for the stuff that goes into the deck.

Has anyone considered playing the new Helix? Warleader's Helix i think?

It costs 4 but helps but slow the aggro down and helix into blood baron is sick.

Hello! I'm wanting to start Standard again after a long break, and I've been looking for a list to play, so here I am, I really love BUG colours, I just have some questions about Fooly Cooly's list :

as I'm not used to BUG lists, but why do you play most of the creatures as 1 of? How is Notion Thief? and aren't you missing Snappy in your list?

    Thanks a lot!

I play creatures as 1-of's because the deck digs fairly well and it gives me versatility. Notion thief was strong but not something for the maindeck, i really liked him though. I dont really feel like i need snapcaster mage. He is very strong. I just have never felt him to do much in this deck in testing.

As a Wolf Run Bant player, I don't think that Sphinx's Revelation is dead.

Apart from Slaughter Games (nothing much to do in that case), here's the answers:

    - Frontline Medic: in the decks that run him, before Sphinx's I want a Supreme Verdict. And after that, problem solved.

    - Council of the Absolute: Wolf Run+Selesnya Charm/Counter/Supreme Verdict/Detention Sphere.

    - Notion Thief: Same as above.

    - Sire of Insanity: Same as above, here I don't even need to pump him to use Selesnya Charm, but he demands immediate answer so no Supreme Verdict or Detention Sphere.

This is for saying that for sure we have more threats against Revelation, but to me there isn't anything so oppressive.

Those do not work for Notion thief, you would need a counter

In regards to Fooly Cooly's list:

    I like it a lot!!!

Its actually on the lines of what I'm aiming to build, just change up the creatures a bit. Still gathering cards togeather but idea are always brewing.

The only card that I'm not too thrilled with is Warped Physique. I do not like cards I cannot be sertain what to expect from them, and the power of the card just varies. To me Abrupt Decay would take the spot much better. Then again, I have not tested the card.

I do feel its heavy on the high end such as the five and six drops, has that become a problem for you? Do you feel you rely on Farseek and Plasm Capture too much to get to them?
warped physique can take out aristocrats. i view it as an unconditonal tragic slip a lot of the time.

the deck is a little high on the cost and we do rely on farseek an d plasm a ton but that is how iwanted it
